I think they are from a multiple entry non-o visa that allows 90 day entries.

I realize that, but the the OP is, according to them,  on a 30 day visa exempt. How do you  get a 90 day entry from a border crossing via air or land from a visa exempt as posted. For sure you need a Non O but the OP has a visa exempt The poor OP must be confused now. This thread is about a person trying to find the cheapest way to prolong there stay here.

They couldn't even translate the back side of the arrival card which is used by thousands of people every day properly, and when they made a new version of the arrival cards they still didn't correct their mistake, it still says "For non-Thai resident only". So you are really expecting too much from Thai bureaucrats ?

    "For non-Thai resident only."

Is the wrong translation the fact it should be "residents"

Can't see anything wrong. Please enlighten.

  3. Strange for me to read this topic. For 3+ years this topic has been dead.

Archive back and you will see the lively discussions with the heated comments regarded caddies.

Compulsory caddies have been a feature of Thailand golf since at least 1980 when there was a smattering of courses. Anyone playing golf since those times must have realized that on most courses a caddy will be a requirement. The management does not hijack the paying player with a hidden cost.

Except at military and a couple of member courses it is the norm to have a caddy.

Where i play in the Pattaya area, often caddies can slow down the game, you know 100 yards behind, last to the ball. One day we had no caddies at a course because none were available, the round was 30 mins faster than normal

Please tell me the name of the golf course that permitted you to play without a caddie.

    Excluding military courses.

  5. Today just drove past the ex Italian restaurant, ex clock restaurant, which became a sabu sishy (check spelling) type restaurant. Its closed with a for sale or rent sign outside.

As on another thread maybe the only way to succeed in the catering business is a bamboo hut on rented land. But then again the robin hood failed in Ban Chang.
