Sorry the title should say....How many times can i extend a 45 day permission to stay Can someone help me out? A friend has been told it can only be extended once but i thought it was twice in a calendar year? Cheers

Thanks for the replies another quick question. I can remember getting an extension in Chiang Mai years ago and I was told best not to wear t.shirt. shorts and flip-flops when you go. I wasn’t planning on the latter anyway but is that still the case? Just out of internet really Thanks

Thanks for the answer. I'm in Hanoi now. I didn't want to extend i wanted to get a visa for 60 days. My problem with the online application happened before i entered Thailand on my last 45 day exempt

Hi, i'm a Brit and in Hanoi now as my 45 day permission to stay expired, here to get a tourist visa I tried to get an evisa online but for some strange reason the form was asking me to supply proof of my hotel booking with the hotel owner's ID. I can supply the booking of course but that doesn't seem to be enough. Very strange as i've only had one entry in the past two years. I've never been asked that before. I'm thinking it would be easier to apply directly at the embassy with all the docs. Do they still issue them in person at the embassy? Thanks for any help

Hi, i will be going to Laksi to get an extension of stay on 14/09 and i'm filling in the online application form TM7. It's asking for details of the Arrival/Departure Card TM6 but i didn't get one. Just a stamp in my passport with the permission to stay 30 days. Have they stopped issuing the cards now or am i missing it and what to do if i am? Thanks in advance Bill
