  1. The CrampBuster is the original motorcycle cruise assist. Thousands of customers worldwide enjoy the ease of use of this simple tool. See how a CrampBuster can benefit you today.

Long with wide paddle - 1-3/8 inch diameter - Chrome

    Benefits:

    • Full throttle control with a relaxed hand

    • Reduces hand fatigue and cramping

    • Comfortably fits your hand

    • Easier throttle operation

    • Eliminates throttle "creep"

    • Doesn't lock throttle on

my hand goes numb on long journeys so i was thinking of giving one of the above a try....Is there anywhere in CM to buy the item?

  2. I can see him in the scooter type wheelchair

I would be very wary about buying this type of scooter because of reliability issues along with the fact u state that where he lives is a rugged area...the scooters in the pics are meant for shopping malls or paved flat areas and will not handle rugged terrain....also where are u going to get parts to fix it when it goes wrong or even someone with the know how to service it?

I have been trying to find a pic of the Honda Wave disabled wheelchair user sidecar that i was talking about in another post but havent been able to find one..the outfit is the same as a standard type Wave and Sidecar except the handlebars are mounted on the front of the sidecar with an arm connected to the headstock of the bike thus allowing control of the machine from the wheelchair user who sits in the chair inside the sidecar..the user enters and exits via a ramp at the back of the sidecar..the gear lever and rear brake are also modified to allow them to be hand controlled from the sidecar....this sort of set up can be easily and cheaply maintained by the local motorbike shop and will last him indefinitly rather than a couple of years at best from a scooter

I would suggest u have a talk with your nephew stating the alternatives and see what he says

heres a CM based charity that could help point u in the right direction

  3. does he not have a standard wheelchair to get about in?depending on how disabled he is maybe a mobility scooter would be a better purchase....u can get some seriously rugged ones depending on the type of terrain it will seewhy not purchase a s/hand one in the states where u will get more for your money and a better choice and ship it with u when u fly.........if u say that it is needed for you and get a walking stick to look the part the airlines are duty bound to carry it on the flight for you free of charge http://www.mobility-...ithScooter.html

  4. Motorola Defy range. NEC (dont know the name. Medias.. I think)

    I-mobile Seal ...

    sent from my ..................#

teerac just got the Motorola Defy which claims to be waterproof but obviously only for a quick dousing or being dropped in the toilet......u can buy one at Zoom on the 3rd floor of Airport Plaza where all the phone shops are....cost 4900 baht..a good deal in my opinion

  5. live in a small condo so dont have an oven....My mum useed to make it too with the skin on the top which was the best bit, just had a craving for it yesterday but nobody has come up with a place to buy it....maybe one of the restaurants can make it up and put it on the menu as it seems theres a few still craving the taste lol

I'm quite sure I saw it at Butter is Better in Rimping Meechok. Right next to the chocolate pudding. They probably have it all the locations.

teerac went to Butter is better next to the Rimping at Airport Plaza and picked up a small pot of home made rice pudding.....only downside was the pot was tiny and the price was 40 baht

  7. Just moved from Aus to live with the mia, been visting over the last 10 years and worked hard together to build our new home about 50k south of Lampang in SoemNgam

its not your home its hers.......u dont own the land....lets hope the family isnt planning to move in to their new farang built house conveniently situated in their home village while u get given your marching orders.........one things for sure u better be a good boy now u have commited yourself and your cash

Typical negative comment from a disgruntled Farang - It's not her home it is theirs 50/50 regardless of the land ownership of which also can be overcome with a 30 + 30 year lease. First obtain the yellow book and then get a lawyer to draw up the legals. Not a big deal and relatively easy to do. Been there and done it.

cant see her being happy about that after the fact....and who would want to live in the ex village in the middle of nowhere when it all goes sour?

and by the way I am not disgruntled as I would never put myself in that position but guys seem to forget to be careful about finances when they are lubbed up...chok dee

  8. The RCBO should be tested with main breaker on and NO circuits connected , this will prove that the RCBO does trip. If it does not trip it is faulty and must be replaced.

so if I switch off all the breakers and test the RCBO with just the main breaker on this should prove that the replacement is also faulty?

for information the main breaker switch does cut all power to the house when off

will try the above next week if i am there

i have found a shop in CM that sells the safe t cut main breaker with the RCBO as a package for 1750 baht but dont wish to spend that money if its proved that the wiring is at fault

  9. persuaded safety cut to give us a new/recon RCB switch as it was still under gurantee

inserted this into the box and the RCB still doesnt work

so bearing in mind that 2 RCBs arent working could the problem be that the box hasnt been wired correctly

is there a way of wiring the box that bypasses the actual RCB module?....could the main isolater switch which is an integral part of the complete RCB module when purchased be at fault?

can anyone give me a wiring diagram on how the box should be wired up...its just a two wire home system

    thanks
