This is a great idea. I wish there were more like it.
In the US, going to a "dog park" on the weekend was a lot of fun for the dogs and their owners.

Ever been here at Songkran?
What a ridiculous comment. It's not Songkran, and he poured a beer on her head, not water.

She is soaking wet. I would call that an assault. She should have kicked the sh*t out of him.

Such a lovely piece of equipment. Why would you even want to touch it?

Both charges show on my Chase account, so it looks like all is good.

UPDATE: My Chase card which has been rejected by Lazada and Villa previously just worked fine at Villa's website and Lazada's mobile app. Lazada's mobile site clearly says "paid by credit card" and items are "to pack". Last time they sent it COD anyway. If they do that again, I'll send it back.
I will test Lazada's website tomorrow, however it did not work today.

DAN747: You will probably get the same reply I did about 3DS authentication. I also sent them a screenshot of the error message, with a scan of my card, monthly statement showing several charges to Lazada, and my passport. they responded with the story about 3DS stated above. I think the runaround we are getting from Lazada is pure bs. This mystery is getting deeper. I have a friend who is using a Visa card from Bank of America with no problems. I also have the same card registered with Lazada. Today he made a purchase with no issues. Within minutes I made a purchase with my BA Visa card and was rejected. (there are no credit or balance problems) So how can my friend buy on Lazada using the same damn card!
Now it seems SHOPPEE and VILLA MARKET are also rejecting cards that they previously accepted. I'm going to contact VILLA and see what their explanation is. Their "terms of use" says all international cards are accepted, and of course they always have in the past. I want to know, what has changed??

Well, here is the reply from Chase Bank:
QuoteI appreciate the opportunity to review your inquiry regarding the 3D Secure, global authentication. Curtis, it is the merchants discretion to accept the card. We do not use the 3D verification. We use multifactor authentication code. An Identification Code allows us to verify you as a customer and it provides additional verification beyond a User ID and Password.
So "verified by visa" is not 3DS authentication. After going through the maze, the bottom line is "it is the merchants discretion to accept the card". The ball is in Lazada's court. ????

Hahahahaa...! Of course they're non-plussed, how would anyone ever consider the loss of a couple of Thaivisa posters' business to be "enormous"?
This goes beyond a couple of posters. If Lazada is rejecting foreign credit cards, it surely must hurt their business and should be cause for concern to a business as large as Lazada.
I must say I don't find any of your comments to be intelligent or helpful.

And it's not just Chase cards that have the problem. Capital One and Bank of America will not work either and they are also Verified by Visa.
-
DMG: I am having the same experience as you. Lazada sent me the BS about 3DS not being supported by Chase. Verified By Visa is 3DS and has been used for years by Lazada and Chase. I have sent a message to Chase asking for further clarification as to what Lazada is talking about.
IMHO this is a problem with Kasikorn Bank. Never before have I received a redirect to them when authorizing a charge until recently. If Kasikorn requires a SMS code sent by Chase, this could be the heart of the problem since I don't think they can send it to a Thai number. I'm anxious for Chase's reply and I will post it. I have also asked them if there is another way to resolve this.
I tried deleting the card and re entering it, but it didn't work. Then (get this) I entered the order on the mobile app and it worked! However, after telling me the charge was successful and processing the order, they sent it COD!! I refused it. I'm about ready to throw in the towel.
Is it possible, Lazada doesn't want our business any more? They seem completely non-plussed by all of this which shocks me since the loss of revenue must be enormous. I even referred them to the threads here for enlightenment but they don't seem to care. Very strange.

This is obviously a problem with the Kasikorn Bank platform Lazada has suddenly started using. I got the same response from them to send a copy of my passport, a picture of the credit card, and a monthly statement. I said "horsesh*t". It's wholly a problem with them. I'm sure they will eventually straighten it out, as the loss of business must be huge. In the meantime, I found a workaround by using their mobile app. The same Chase card worked fine on the app and the order was processed. Apparently, the website and mobile app don't communicate. On their website, the same items are still in the cart tagged "pending payment". On the app, they have been shipped. ????
Sure, I can always pay by bank transfer or COD, but I want to use my card for the rewards, no foreign transaction fee, and the ability to pay my card balance from my US bank account.

I cook and eat at home since this all started. Seems to me, restaurants, food stalls etc would be high risk. How do I know the cook didn't sneeze in the curry before serving or sending it off with Food Panda?

Who is going to tell the bank you are dead?
That's a good question, and one I have wondered about too.
-
I also have asked Kasikorn about appointing my stepdaughter as beneficiary to my 800K account, but can't get an answer. Someone said they can add a name to the passbook that is only visible under a blacklight, but I can't find out if that's true.
I think the best course of action is to visit a lawyer with my stepdaughter and have a Thai will drawn up. This doesn't concern my foreign holdings, only this single bank account. My Thai wife passed away, so my house and property are already owned by my stepdaughter, and I have a usufruct. I want her to have the fastest access to the account so she can pay for my final arrangements. Unless there is a way to appoint her as a beneficiary with the bank, I don't see any other way for her to access the account without my ATM card and PIN.

If probate is required after death the Will will need to be translated into Thai. Think about joint bank accounts -the only problem being visa extensions.........but there are simple ways round that. Only problem is condo and vehicle ownership. Do you trust your wife/partner enough to put them in her name?
Can you please explain the ways around visa extension problems using joint accounts?

The 60000 number is on your vaccine certificate.
Perhaps I am not getting the terminology. All I got upon my second vac is a small yellow card with the hospital stamp, dates of the vaccinations, my name and passport number. Is the "vaccine certificate" a different document? If so, how do I obtain it?
-
1. There is no number, 60000 or otherwise, on the yellow card I was given after the second Pfizer shot.
2. How do you find and get into the mor prom app?

After many attempts to do the 90 day report online during the past couple years, I was always rejected with no explanation. Asking my local office was no use; they didn't know why it wouldn't work. Then last December the new system was introduced. I tried again, and glory be, it worked. A couple days ago, I received an email saying it was due again. I went online again, and holy smoke, it worked for the second time.
I am amazed and delighted. They seem to have gone from incompetent to highly efficient. The reminder email was a nice surprise, and the procedure worked flawlessly with my receipt returned the same day. I can forgive and forget all the prior frustration, and hope this will continue to be standard. They get a pat on the back and an "atta boy" from me.
