I am one who can't do it online because I have not left the country in 10 years, so my TM-6 arrival card is not in the system. Well, why the hell not? I have updated my passport number, renewed my extension annually, religiously done 90 day reports, and followed all regulations to the letter. Can't someone go into the system and verify the stupid TM-6 number and free me to do this pointless report online? Is it that hard?

Another case of stupid politicians passing stupid laws. A few years ago an STR worker was was convicted of murder for raping and killing a girl on a train. Result politicians banned alcohol on trains for everybody.
Does anybody know what the outcome of this case was? I know the worker was given the death sentence, but was it ever carried out?

What do you mean?
I thought your AliExpress joke was funny and left a Laugh sticker on it.
My response, that you're quoting here, was also a joke, which is why it got a laugh too.
Lighten up man, it's all good!
I laughed too.
Home confinement is making everyone a bit touchy.

You can't close manufacturing plants, send workers home, and stop imports without creating mass shortages and debt.
A $1,000 bailout per adult won't even make one month's rent or mortgage payment.
So yes, the financial crisis will linger long after the health crisis is controlled. The magnitude of which can not be predicted.

QuoteSince then Thipwimon had been trying to get back 25,000 baht and a one baht weight necklace she had lent to her now former mother-in-law.
In Thailand, lent = gift.

Attempting a serious answer, you may have seen a supply ship making a delivery. I saw this once. The following craft would come racing toward the rear of the ISS, then dock with it. They replenish the astronauts supplies and pick up some of the waste. It was a hell of a sight; thought they were being attacked.

Well, automatic is not exactly correct. You still have to sign up for it and authorize the payment to be deducted from your monthly benefit. The Welcome Packet will explain it all in detail.

It depends on your definition of "addicted". Physical addiction not likely. Mental addiction or dependence highly possible. If you can't start your day without getting high first, you are addicted.

45 minutes ago, connda said:Again - Thai doctors consider a patient's pain to be due to their own bad Karma. They are reluctantly allow cannabinoids to be used for a handful of conditions while totally ignoring conditions such as arthritis. The message is: "You must suffer due to your own bad Karma. It's not a Thai doctor's duty to ease that suffering!" And the Thai elite are on board with that policy.
How very true. This antiquated, primitive, superstitious, backwoods attitude has no place in the modern world. I recently broke my hip and laid on my back for 4 days in the hospital begging for morphine to relieve some of the pain. They brought me paracetamol.
In the US, the top priority would be to relieve my pain by any means necessary.

The same handout has been given to people at Jomtien.
It think the person you talked to was not familiar with new rules.
Handout or not, you are at the mercy of how the IO interprets the new rules. Best to play it safe and figure 3 months. If you hit a brick wall, they aren't going to give a damn when you say, "But ubonjoe said..." (no disrespect, Joe).
Another question is how they figure the 3 months. If you put the money in the bank today (Mar. 15) is it 3 months to June 15, or are they going to say it has to be 3 full calendar months (April, May, June) to July 1?
I may be over-thinking the matter, but if you haven't learned to cover your butt, you haven't been here long enough.

I enclose a self addressed biz size envelope with 36 baht worth of stamps on it, and write "EMS" in red ink. That goes inside an A4 size envelope with all my paperwork which I tell the PO to send EMS. I use the Nan office, and have been doing this for years.
