2% of $30,000 is $600. How does that compare to a $50-100 SWIFT fee?

As FNQ said, sounds like GERD for sure. I have taken Prilosec for years. In Thailand, the brand name is Miracid. Available in any pharmacy. Google GERD (gastro esophical reflex disease).

At least the toilet looked reasonably clean.
That got my attention too. Strange.

As always, Immigration rules and regulations will vary from office to office. They will be totally ambiguous and without logic. You can quote the official policies until you turn blue, but the officer you're dealing with calls the shots. Hopefully, his hemorrhoids aren't flaring up that day. Best to just follow the instructions given by your office, and cover your butt.
I would guess that the November date is to confirm that your balance has not gone below 400,000 baht which it can never do.

No! It's two months before the application, and three months after.
It is NOT three months before.
Yes, that is the official policy. HOWEVER... as you well know, every office is different and can throw a curve ball without warning. There are many posts about it on this forum. Best to cover your butt.

Whenever they play that annoying "Sandy", I want to kill whoever is closest to me. ????

Agreed. That happened to me a while ago. Took 5 minutes to change (mitsub a/C).
Just make sure you turn power off at the breaker first! ????

Missing the point here. Isn't that somewhat obvious. If people cannot renew their driving licenses, you cannot prosecute them for driving with an expired license... ????
According to who?
You're using logic. Unfortunately, that doesn't exist here.

Sounds to me like the capacitor is going bad. Easy to replace yourself for about 500 baht. If you're not a do it yourselfer, call a tech.

I use an I-Mac, no VPN or anti-virus. Tried all the browsers. Followed all instructions to the letter. Still get told to go into the office. I think it's a simple matter that their system is f***ed up. After all, TIT.
If going in person is a problem, mail it in. -

Given what I am hearing, could this be an anti-virus software problem/cookies/ or specific VPN companies or connections? Windows version the same (check), using Chrome or another browser that has been successful for some (check). Would be nice to have what anti-virus software, being used, are cookies on in your browser, and whose VPN (if using one) to try and diagnose.
I have never been able to get it to work. At my most recent in person renewal I asked the officer why. She took my passport, fiddled around on her keyboard, then said everything is correct, but the system just doesn't work for some people. Handed back my passport and said goodbye. ????

This is an excellent question.
I do not know anyone who has been treated for Covid, or for that matter anyone who has tested positive.
Makes you wonder.

I am receiving treatment at Sri Phat hospital and will need future appointments. I live 4 hours away and need to use a wheelchair. I have stayed at Duangtawan Hotel, but would like to know if there are any other hotels near Sri Phat that have wheelchairs for use by guests. So far I've found lots of wheelchair accessible hotels but none that actually have the chairs available.
Anybody know?
Thanks.
Kudos to Bangkok Bank! Credit card fraud issue.

I have been through it several times with US banks including fraudulent charges made in Thailand. All it ever took was one phone call to get the charges reversed, card cancelled, new card sent out, and an apology. Sometimes they even contacted me first because the charges seemed suspect.
Why should it be any different with Bangkok Bank?
