Define crowded. it's not empty, but have never seen it what I would call crowded. But I am from Southern Calif., so my definition may different then yours.

The beach is maybe a 3-4 hundred meters long. Most I have seen is a couple of hundred people along the the beach. Virtually all are guest of the non-major brand hotels/guesthouses of various architecture along the beach.

There is a marked off swimming area, with jet skis and such available outside that. Parasailing is offshore barges only. Many hotels put out beach dining in the evenings. Night life is limited. There is one club with live band and a couple of bars along beach as well. There is no open prostitution scene.

Have recommended it to many people. No one has complained.

Very nice reply, is what I wished to know. How can you compare with Ao Phai Beach where Samed Villa Resort is located? Are they nice?

Have never tried anywhere but Sai Kaew Beach [Resort], but that works for us.

Is it very crowded the beach?

Planning next holidays and chose Koh Samed for a stopover while in Pattaya during Christmas.

Which beach? Sai Kaew Beach or Vong Duern? How is Vong Duern Beach accomodation, restaurant and nigtlife?

How far is Central Park 3 to Pattaya Beach and Jomtien Beach?

Is it easy to get daily transportation to these two places?

Both tracks are located off Threppasit road, both very good with fast 100cc 2 stroke engines. However if you want to race competitivly they have a racing track (BIRA Circuit) up past Mabrachan lake.

I have also stayed at this place a couple of times.

Not as nice as View Talay Villas, the swimming pool was closed when I was there in July.Best to check with them in advance.

Apartments are ok,,getting a bit shody at the edges.

Have a cafe/bar and the staff are helpful and friendly.

Looked at the link you sent me by PM,,interesting stuff.I have met the guy that the writer is complaining about,he is a salesman ,,sells timeshares.Sounds like a sale went wrong eh?

I would,nt advise anyone to buy a timeshare,I made a mistake about 8 years ago. The good thing about it is that you are not forced to stay at the same place (or country) and can exchange with other members of an organisation called Interval International.

Have a good stay.

The boxes were at the reception ,,but that may have changed.

Never had a problem at either place with security.

Both places have security guards at the entrances to the estates.

How many swimming pools are there?

Any maid service (timeshare scheme)

Safety box inside the room or in the reception?

I think 3 is one of the Moo Baan's on Sukumvit Road.

My review: a total abortion. At least if you live in it you dont have to look at it.

The View Talay name encomapsses MANY projects in the Pattaya area including the accurately described monstrosity.

View Talay Holiday Resort is the one near soi 5 Jomtien Beach, as I got from navigating on net. Just know that the resort is composed by villas and studio apartments

Soi 5 Jomtien,,I can can only tell you of View Talay Villas.

By your description I think you must be staying there.

I am an owner of a time share there,,( stop laughing at the back,,,it was quite a few years ago).

There are only individual villas and some studio apartments,, (not high rise)the place is very nice and I have stayed there a few times.

Management , staff are all very helpful,,a couple of swimming pools and snack bars.

The last time I stayed there was a few years ago but my brother was there in Jan this year and says it was good,ship shape and clean.Have a nice time.

My suggestion would be to book a minivan with Mr-T. They charge 1,400 from the airport to Pattaya/Jomtien.

They'll be waiting for you at the arrival area with a big sign with your name on it.
