Hong Kong should be independent?
Hong Kong is a part of China. Do you really think that China will accept an independence? Dreamer.... You can fight for Taiwan. Taiwan should be independent, but Hong Hong will remain a part of China.
China is the coming world power and Trump is a sick president.-

Everything normal, except they don't seem to be replacing tesco own brand stock once sold.
Not good news for those who like a nice cup of tea at a decent price.
Any alternative suggestions anyone?
take a look at Lazada

More important than closing them would be to limit the maximum number of daily visitors. This is not so important for the National Parks at land, but for the marine parks. Some places, especially in the high season are overcrowded.

This trash was washed from the sea. It was not thrown to this beach. The ocean is full of trash. Sometimes the current wash it to the beach.

Noticeable once again "Foreigners" highlighted first in the headlines.....why not "Thai Bar flouting alcohol ban"..........
Because without these foreigners they would not open the bar. The foreigners are the problem because they pay for it.

The consequences from the virus will be fully obvious in a few month. Now even all the companies who are working for export still must pay their wages and other costs. If they cannot export goods they must transfer cash from outside. Otherwise the companies would crash. Of cause this cannot be done this way for a long time. Also some Thai companies who are producing or provide services for the local market still must pay for their costs. The owners are changing some USD or EUR in THB to cover these expenses. When they see that the actual situation will continue they will either close the companies or reduce all costs to a minimum. I think that the THB will come down, but it takes time.
But maybe the economy will recover and everything return to normal... ???? Then the THB will become even stronger.-

This is just a fake post. I don't believe any word here.
Try to date Thai ladies...the answer is 'short time 1000'. It is difficult to really date somebody without financial interest. 50 dates in 2 weeks, this is just sick.Perhaps the OP just wants to motivate some readers to use dating sites.

Travelers from five other new countries were included in the ban, which already included Iran and China. The new countries are:

The government said in a statement: "The committee decided to extend the suspension of the direct or indirect entry of foreign arrivals from China and Iran until further notice, and [also] stop the direct or indirect entry of foreign arrivals from Thailand, South Korea, Japan, Italy and Singapore."

No Immigration requirement for insurance on any of those alternative approaches at this time.
"at this time' - this is the point. You cannot rely on this. Everything here is changing quickly. You always should be prepared that you cannot stay here anymore. Don't invest here, don't buy any real estate, don't make any private plans here for long term.

Well that's another billion plus potential tourists who are going to see this on the news and possibly think about not visiting Thailand. Then next month the TAT will release a drive to capture the Indonesian tourist market. Or the Mexican tourist market. Soon there won't be any countries left.
There are so many Indians and Chinese more to come here. The number of tourists from these countries will increase enormous the next 10-15 years. What we see now is just the beginning. Europeans will loose their importance for the Thai tourism market.

There is over tourism and commercialization in many places. The world is changing. A lot more people nowadays can afford to travel. Many of them are from lower classes, so there sometimes is a certain lack of education. The environment gets more and more polluted. Many places get internationalized and are looking similar all over the word. Travel to any big city in the world and you will see the same brands and shopping malls.

I agree! Me and my (German) wife will go the same way. We both have unlimited and worldwide health insurance already. On the one hand the additional health insurance with Pacific Cross is wasted money, but on the other hand it is the admission ticket to a retirement in Thailand...
You should first study your insurance carefully. My German insurance (AXA) don't allow me to have another insurance simultaneously.
