One of the most fundamental steps that would make America safer is ridding the country of the 5-6 million illegals that Obama and Democrats want to amnesty. And that is the reason this funding is on hold. More Americans are killed by illegals every day than by ISIS since its inception. The threat is from within, not without. And Homeland Security is currently devoted to rolling out the red carpet for illegals, whether overstays or border jumpers. That is at the core of this funding argument.

and how many Americans are killed every day by legal Americans?? How many illegals are killed by legals?

Votes like this go to show that the congress and senate don't give two sh!#$ about their citizens or the country they say they love so much. Their end game for the last 6 or 7 years has been to do everything they can to make sure they make the current administration look bad and try to stop any laws being past.

It is not so much a lame duck President as a completely broken and partisan congress that has only their best interest at heart. Everyone else be damned.

Markets like this necessarily have to take place on private land and not public roads. There are plenty of available land for lease everywhere in Bangkok, but the sellers prefer not to pay.

Areas need to be found where these people can set up shop, pay for legal licenses issued by the government and keep the sticky BIB fingers out of it.

How many of you negative posters come from a country that allows people to set up make shift housing wherever they want? I guess Canada must be a Junta Gov as well because there is no way that would be allowed there or any other western country. Watched Birdman a couple weeks ago. Two hours of my life I will never get back. Avoid it at all costs, just a terrible terrible movie.

I am not a Yingluck fan, but just looking at that picture, I have to say that given the enormous amount of pressure on her, both from the military government side, her haters and her brother, I think she has maintained an admirable amount of decorum.

Many men in her position would have crumbled. Perhaps she has a heart of steel, but it looks like she's going to need it.

More likely she has a heart of stone.

The present administration does not want to talk about radical Islamic terrorism , the most important issue of our times. I know what concerns me most.

Jeb Bush called Obama's foreign policy record an "unmitigated disaster" that lacks guiding principles, especially regarding the jihadist group Islamic State. He gets credit for that.

considering the Bush clan and their foreign policy is probably the greatest contributing factor to the destabilization of the Middle east I find that quite laughable. Let's give the Bush clan the full credit they deserve while you are at it.

If I was him I wouldn't want to focus on my families proven history of lying and war mongering either. Better to focus on criticizing the next administration for the way they are trying to clean up your families mess.
