At least these dummies (I mean the models not the real dummies) are visible.
For the amount of cops on the payroll it is very rare to see one out on the street even pretending to do their jobs.
I haven't seen more than 3 or 4 cops on Sh 11 in the last year. They do have a table set up on Sukhumvit around soi 13, for what reason who knows, but they just sit there while little babies are used for begging at all hours of the night, while the extortion taxis glog up the streets and sidewalk areas, while motorcycles drive in the footpath etc. etc. etc.
Again, fire them all and start over!!!

Trump gearing up for the ultimate distraction???
Watch the war while me and my friends rob you blind.

And this is a president who wants extreme vetting of refugees and immigrants, but can't seem to even do a remedial vetting of his own nominees.
What has the US gotten itself into with this President?
How can they justify extreme vetting for refugees and at the same time refuse to have extreme vetting for citizens buying guns?
32,000 handgun deaths per year, how many killed by refugees?

One of the best fibers known to man but made illegal to protect the cotton industry and has remained illegal ever since.

And the BIB have the balls to charge the academics with defamation for criticising their performance???? Case closed!!!
-
It should be easy enough for these academics to prove that they are justified in their statements.
There is a long history of ineptness and corruption as evidence.
-
But it's ok to run over a cop and drag him down the road if you have a really nice car.

The Thai police are to get new guns so that they can compete with criminals.
They are the criminals!!!

given the opportunity Trump would be a far worse dictator than anyone is accusing Prayut of being.
Thailand is the safest it has been in the 14 years I have lived here. I hope it continues.

They should practice what they preach!!

Regardless of Trump, it's amazing how all the pro Democrats posters' comments appear to infer Obama, in his 2 administrations, who had help from former secretary of state Clinton, the veteran public servant, did a fantastic job in the Middle East!
Look around and open your eyes and see what sort of job he and Clinton really did.
They had a hell of a lot of cleanup to do after the mess that Bush and Cheney left for them, both militarily and economically.
The only question is how much of a mess will there be to clean up once this clown troop is done?

Most people stream these days. Downloading is old hat.Well then I wonder why 1 million people a day access Kickasstorrents alone not to mention all of the other torrent sites?
Maybe I am a dinosaur but I like to have a bunch of TV shows and videos downloaded and ready to watch whenever I want to watch them.
Either way there is a lot of better options than Truevisions. Whatever floats your boat.
-
I am a television junky, also was, always will be. I stopped using Truevisions almost 5 years ago and do not miss it for a second.
Crap channels with the same shows over and over with censored cigarettes, guns and edited to the point where it is not worth watching the programs.
Then there are the same commercials playing every 10 mins and sometimes back to back.
Now I download everything, no crappy subtitles. I watch what I want when I want.
Truevisions will never see another baht of my money. Good riddance.
-
why does it matter if his sob story is a lie or not. If you choose to give beggars money that is your decision.

10 candidates that are likely poorly connected.

he fell asleep and hit someone without knowing it but somehow he knows how fast he was traveling at the time? Selective memory?

It really is a fantastic documentary, incredible footage. Well worth the watch.

For years there has been a big fat homeless girl that would almost live on the bus stop bench on sukhumvit soi 3 just opposite Bumrungrad hospital. She would always be laying on the bench and often would have her dress hyked up with her nasty hoo hoo hanging out, no underwear (really nasty).
A woman in my building who is likely in her late 60's made the mistake of sitting at the bench one day. The homeless girl picked up a brick and clocked her over the head with it without saying a word. Almost killed the poor old farang lady.
This was about a year ago and nothing was ever done. Up until a week or so ago you could still see that homeless girl there.
Getting people the help they need is one thing, but protecting society from these people is also part of the governments responsibility.

Don't mistake stupidity for balls and don't forget there is already over 700 miles of wall.
The majority of illegals enter legally then just stay so there is no justification for the kind of wall Trump is pushing for.
I believe in border security and controlling immigration for any country but this plan does not make sense, it is just a ploy that plays on peoples passions.
And as others have said, a 20% duty means that Americans are paying for it not Mexico.

The clown that stole the paintings from Japan should get a couple of whacks too.
-
Don't glorify this, it is not a caper!!! No need to call inspector Clouseau.
This was just another immoral Thai official that was so stupid and arrogant he thought he could get away with stealing anything he wants just like he does back at home in Thailand.
He has no business holding a position as head of intellectual properties.
The world is watching (and laughing) Thailand, for once, do the right thing and make someone accountable for their actions.
-
Nothin intellectual about this guy.
You would think that someone in this department of government would need to show that his moral compass is in order. That alone should get him fired from his position.
The world is pressuring Thailand to deal with copyright infringement so maybe with some international pressure Thailand will do the right thing and make an example of this idiot, or at least let Japan do it for them, or both. But.....TIT

Perhaps they should re-test every single officer all the way up the chain and shit can anyone that fails it.

Any red-shirt would be hounded to death for such a thing.
Good thing he wasn't hosting a TV cooking show.
Hopefully people won't ask questions about the QSNCC "contract", a second 25 year exclusive non-compete deal given by the "government" to ThaiBev's Charoen Sirivadhanabhakdi.
It is amazing that the definition of "corruption" seems to be very flexible based on one's political affiliations?
And what makes you think he is not a red shirt? Most of the police are.
Top-cop says ThaiBev salary disclosure was a mistake
