50,000 each should be enough for them to have to go home, if they actually avoid deportation. I think there is even extra penalties for doing burglary at night. Tresspassing is a fairly serious offense, and while 52 isn't old, that would also be an aggravating circumstance in a Thai court. If they haven't settled it all by now, they are already in very deep. Having a beard and dressing "impolitely" while committing crimes will also work against them.

From my perspective as a permanent resident for 25 years and owner of several hotel resorts. This commentator has made an exactly perfect analysis of the situation and there's nothing more to be said.

If the young lads haven't cleared it up by now, they're just getting in deeper and deeper.

A secondary thought...............Isn't Thailand having a very low Tourist turnout this season??? This price gouging should really increase Tourist flow.............

I have had a couple wives in my long life time and if the above problems are all you have you have really nothing to worry/complain about. They love you, clean and cook for you with love and love you physically at the drop of a hat. As you age they then switch to a caregiver mode along with the above mentioned functions which I find fantastic. No one is perfect surely not me. I would love to hear her comments about you. As we age we get more cantankerous and I always fight to keep this in check. She is not deserving of that side of me.

Well Thank You Sirs, for a frank and honest statement. I do bitch about many of the same things without disagreement, all though I also concur that at times I am also not perfect... (But I am the next best thing, in my eyes). Lol, lol. And I do most honestly agree that I am getting more cantankerous myself and I also am fighting to keep this in check. I exited Central Mall, after 4 taxis attempts of not paying the 300b and listening to them talking on the radio warning each other that i was refusing to pay 300b , I approached a young kid in a meter taxi, I told him real clear 200b or no eat to night, I told him they are not your boss, he returned okay, get in quick......

My SCB Secure Credit Card WAS costing me twice the reserve funds to own (200000b held in reserve for 100000b credit) and Bangkok Bank offered the same rates with only holding 1 for 1 (100000b for 100000b credit) I dumped then like a hot potato. SCB are NOT easy to deal with for many simple tasks and the fees are always higher (bank letter for visa). Last year the clerk argued and would not give a amount statement signed from the bank because I did not have 800000b in the bank. After explaining 3 times that was not a requirement for me since I had a income letter from my Embassy to support the requirement for Immigration I finally had to request a supervisor to issue the letter (cost 200b). Bkk Bank (100b) no questions. The Wife said her former University is looking into dropping SCB also......... reap what you throw...........????
