Making them wear yellow hats and red gum boots would make them a lot more distinguishable if you go looking for them. Also as a bonus the sun keeps off their heads and the sand does not get between the toes---I hate that. NOW what about this murder thing---What do you mean WHAT MURDER !!!
Cant be bothered to wade through it all,but it must be interesting--- it's made 22 pages so far.
22 PAGES FOR TOURIST WRISTBANDS !!!!
Actually this is a easier way for the BIB to find the dead bodies, You know........ it takes all the guess work out of it.............. they are so busy with all the OTHER crackdowns...........

Sorry friend, its mostly same same, but different

DEAR OP,
I have a similar situation, if you are from the U.S. , some banks, ie: TMB would not open any new accounts for U.S. expats due to the new reporting rules(IRS in the U.S.), they stated I could keep my accounts but also could not open any new accounts.

Know the area well, motorbikes DO normally, illegally, cross with no regard for flow of traffic. Also since the intersection has been under construction the speed of traffic to and from has increased tremendously

How many BIB's does it take to attach a wheel clamp?
And I see that it's right outside a police station according to the signs.
One suspects this may be a staged photograph opportunity.
At least seven policemen by the looks of it. Is the cop in the foreground writing a ticket or reading out the wheel-clamp fitting instructions to the others ? I reckon they are clamping this Isuzu truck because it has been parked outside the Police Station in one of their parking spots, after all, no self respecting officer of the law would be seen dead driving an old banger like that.....
I shudder to think what happens when a light bulb blows at the cop shop.
So Sorry, Not to beat a dead horse..............but I count at least 9, maybe 10 bib

The cop in the photo is wearing a poorly designed dayglow vest. Having such a thick band covering his utility belt reduces his ability to draw his revolver or retrieve his handcuffs.
Like they ever REALLY use their revolver or handcuffs....................................

Dear OP, sorry for a bit off subject but Samsung s5 is the best purchased I have ever made.....and I have owned many..........from Nokia, Samsung note one, and of course

Lets put things in perspective here, a Thai stabs a Falong over not wanting fake Rolex, (Thai committing a fraud, and violence), he gets 500b fine.
A Falong attempts fraud and can get up to 6 months! Give him the max??????????? Where were you 6 months ago. TIT.........................
-
So let me get this straight. The Thai was in the wrong breaking the law (going the wrong way), CAUSED the accident. Yet its ok to cut someone because they got upset? Yes blame the Americans who all have hot tempers and no manners.

Sorry to beat a dead horse but, I can't drive from Jomtien to Pattaya no matter what route, what time of day, and during that short of distance, I come across at least one motorcyclist going the wrong way on my side of the road..........WHAT CRACKDOWN????
-
Yes big fat half naked falangs on big fat monster bikes should be dealt with first!
Yes they REALLY cause many more injuries & deaths than all the other violations combined...........(some peoples kids).........

Second to China, Thailand has the worst drivers in the world. This is a culture that has grown for many generations and will not be easy to overcome. There are not enough police in the country to change their habits.
In Chiang Rai it has to be one of the worst places. It has been so long since I have seen a traffic policeman I have forgotten what they look like. Where are they? Hoping that the army can do something about this major problem. Chiang Rai deaths during Songkran is still the highest per capita in the nation.
So...........I guess you have never been to Bombay/Mumbai, silly boy..................... No comparison!

By the way, it's *137 on True Move. I just did it.
Go through the prompts.
Thanks, will give it a try!

The downturn in tourism usually results in a crime increase, I think many Thais are currently finding it harder to make a living if they rely on tourism.
Gee........You Mean Supply & Demand?????????
-
great to know they are starting this, but stop pety fines, if your vehicle is towed for illegal parking it will be crushed. Simple. The roads would be alot better and far more safer for everyone else who has to use them..
What a stupid response......must not own a vehicle......

Any advise .
Probably one of the more ridiculous questions posed on Thai Visa ... and believe me you're up against stiff competition.
Assuming you ever dated a woman anywhere else in the world and eventually broke up with her, did she refund you all the money you spent on her?
Did you think you were making hire-purchase (installment plan) payments and she came with a money-back guarantee?
For some reason your post makes me think of something ... now what is it ... rhymes with roll or toll or something like folderol ... no can't remember what the word is.
ITS TROLL, ITS TROLL,..... LOL, this is the BEST Troll Post I think I have ever read!! Thanks for the great evening laugh, and to the many other great re-posts!

It was definitely shut down last night coming thru about 0230 from the airport, not even a 7-11 or Gas Station open.

Flew into BKK last night at (Don mung) at 2355, we were told to bring are airline tickets to prove we just arrived. The taxi was stopped 2 times from there to Pattaya/Jomtien by the Thai Army, NO PROBLEMS GETTING HOME. The streets were nearly empty, no business were open, even the rest stops were closed but loaded with trucks of all kinds on the side of the highway near the rest stops.

What happens us? We arrive in bkk dang mung at 2345

First step. I think this country intends to keep squeezing and squeezing and squeezing until they force out most Westerners of whatever visa status. Both sides of the political debate want Westerners out. Anyone working here is seen as someone taking a Thai's money and job. And, as this policy shows, they can change the rules on a moment's notice. Retirement visa. Non-immigrant work visa? They could decide next week to kick everybody out of the country starting the next morning. And most Thais would probably celebrate.
Yea...Until they start to realize us Falang pump more money into their economy then they think.............

You ordinarily need an appointment to be seen at the embassy. Log in to the website and make an appointment under citizen services. Print out your appointment slip and take it with you. If you do a walk-in you will be seen after all those with appointments.
Correct, don't be surprised if they turn you down......... (&^%$^(&$(&^
