  1. 1. Have the A.C. cleaned & make sure they blow the drain line

    2. Big differences in temperature(outside & inside) may cause A.C. to overheat and the drain can not handle all the condensate flow

    3. If the A.C. is not properly charged (too much or too little refrigerant) then condensate can also occur

  2. Hahaha. This should be outstanding. It will probably cause the entire internet in thailand to freeze up due to demand.

If they are smart they can put a map application where you can report these breaches. It will be amazing to see the deluge if complaints around Central department stores, car showrooms and government offices.

There is absolutely no way they will be able to handle it.

Yes and Home Pro removed the sign at the entrance of the store "Free Item If mis-priced" after I attempted to purchased a coffee maker that was mislabeled "On Sale" when it was not and still wanted me to pay the full price instead of free.

  3. I feel fooled by 3BB. They advertise 10 mb for 590 tbh and I have what they call 3MB Premium package. Pay 1166 tbh. Cannot find this in their website.

I was in Sakon Nakhon im march and tried to get an explanation, but with no luck. They can offer me Fiber Optic for 1200 tbh.

But the service they give their customers is below cero so I will in july get True Move to install Fiber optic.

i had this service also, it was b.s., crap , a old service that was not updated to match the new prices and was no better for the international hook up they promised......

  4. " gobsmacked " I am pretty sure that means pussified in the "American English" translation.... Can any one help??

p.s. why would you come and complain here??? You did not speak up for what you believe in, when it could have counted, so you expect us to give you a "pat on the back" now??????????

  5. Should have been thrown in a cell and made to donate 1,000,000 to the hospital in recompense for the appalling behavior.

    Wonder where the "Mates" are/were?

These "brave" Aussie drunkards are usually to be found in packs !

Donate for what?? He should have been sent back, banned and fined, but the ALLOWING the Hospital Staff to kick a Patient........@*!............????? That's why I think it was turned into a wash. STILL 2 WRONGS DON'T MAKE IT RIGHT...........The staff should have been held accountable.

  6. At Least you got your visa........My Thai Girlfriend of 30 years old applied for a U.S. tourist visa 3 weeks ago, at the interview, the questions were: where was she going(my Home in the U.S.), how did we meet(at the Mall), how long did she know me(7.5 years ago, and I have been living here with Her for 7 years).

Her "package" that was prepared was not even allowed to be shown:

    1. University Graduate in IT & English

    2. Teacher for 3 years(Teacher of the Year 2 times)

    3. Presently a successful business owner

    4. Owns a 2014 Honda

    5. Has a very large bank account

    6. Etc., Etc.

He handed her a paper and said sorry, which had the excuse why she was not getting a visa...

    Reason...... Does not qualify ?!?!?!?!?!?!

    Home Land Security.. B.S.

    Theorist Threat.. B.S.

    Not returning to Thailand...B.S.

I wish this could reach the U.S. Embassy / U.S. Ambassador all I ever see is photo opportunities

  7. I'm waiting for the "I've lived in Bangkok for 30 years, ridden in thousands of taxis- and never had a problem" clap2.gif

OK. Twice I have refused to carry on, the no meter rubbish. Just got out!

    Speaking a little Thai helps.

Best not to get a taxi in a tourist area of Bangkok, but have done for thirty years!

Best not to get a taxi in a tourist area of Bangkok, but have done for thirty years!

So I should walk to get a taxi at a better place?!?!?! thumbsup.gif.pagespeed.ce.dtxKiAJ9C7.gif

  8. I ride a Honda Phantom.

    Oil changes every 1,000 km...

    50 oil changes already.

    Still very good, hehehe

I wouldn't brag about that. lol

How's it feel to know that every 125 scooter on the market can outrun you?

But they're ok for trips, as long as you don't mind doing moderate hills in 2nd and 3rd gear.

Hey, whatever make ya happy! thumbsup.gif

I also been riding a Phantom for over 2years now. Its not how fast you get there, its riding much more comfortably and in style. Grown Man On A SCOOTER..........now that's funnycheesy.gif (mooning)

  9. OP........I do sympathize when trying to relay a frustrating situation..... I am presently in the exact same situation here in Pattaya, difference is Honda city vs Toyota altos, the games they play with us is ridiculous but true, Every question asked had to be verified, re-verified again. I think we finally have settled on the Honda. I can't own a credit card without putting a secure amount equal to the card limit in this country, I have to put extra down on a car,(with a co-sign) even tho she earns far less than I am worth just in verified pension money. I have credit cards that far exceed the full purchase of the car from the states. Yet we still get treated like a worthless, homeless 3rd class citizens.

p.s. It was also very frustrating to be told I knew more about the product and options the car had then they did..........! I wish us BOTH Luck.........

  10. I'm not interested in alternatives to the queue. Maybe others are. I do not believe these other alternatives are as problem free as being sold here.

My personal experience is the queue is worth the hassle for the CERTAINTY of destination and fare, and also convenience of where it is usually works for me perfectly.

I do wish the baht bus company could set up a civilized system of crowd control there (and clamp down on the violence) but I know my wish is in vain.

JT. Why don't you learn a bit of Thai. I've been in queues or faced potential dramas as you have, but if you smile and say something to the driver such as "there's a lot of crazy Falangs out tonight, and most of them smell don't ya think?", they'll probably piss themselves and let you ride shotgun in the A/C cab.

Your apparent reluctance to engage Thais (particularly bus drivers) in conversation (in any language) as highlighted in many of your posts intrigues me. Do you assume that every engagement must by definition be one of conflict?

TO GSX... Do you always put down your fellow kind just because you can speak Thai and KISS ASS??? Just wondering...............

  11. ON 07FEB14, went to Central Pattaya Mall, tried all the banks, THE ONLY BANK which would and did gave a savings account on a 30 day tourist visa with a passport as ID was K-Bank. Minimum amount of deposit 1000b and cost 500b which included a debit card and internet banking. All done in about a hour, including new debit card. My email was sent a new password the next day to log on to internet banking and was up and running immediately. Easy, well trained staff.

p.s. on 06feb14: K-bank, Sukumvit Road,(between south and central Pattaya roads) offered to do the same service but required a 5000b accident insurance policy to do the service(to prove I would stay in the country, lol)... PURE B.S. They in-turn lost my business.
