  1. Israeli soldiers and officers have said they were ordered to shoot at unarmed civilians waiting for food in Gaza. https://theintercept.com/2025/06/27/israel-killed-palestinians-food-aid-gaza/?utm_medium=email&utm_source=The Intercept Newsletter
  2. No. I'm saying MAGA should recognise the contributions made by US allies during conflict. Not constantly blabbering on how the US has been ripped off, which in nonsense. Prior the US, as would any other country acted in it's national self interest. Trump needs to cease whining, it's boring and pathetic behaviour by a President of the USA.
  3. No. I'm stating as do all economists, the US taxpayer will be paying tariff (taxes) on goods (presumedly services as well) imported into the US. Also Trump claiming tariff on imports iis the way forward to resolve US trade gaps is BS. Penalising Allied economies for US economic errors is not the way forward. Trump latest legislation is forecast to add a further four trillion to US national debt - the guy is NUTS...
  4. So far as I know Biden did not place new tariffs on Allies. However... The previous administration (Trump) tried a trade approach that relied only on tariffs and corporate tax cuts, and it failed to solve the big problems facing domestic production. It did not truly reorient global supply chains away from China, nor did it rebuild American industrial might. By contrast, the Biden administration’s approach of coupling smart, strategic, targeted tariffs with actual investment in American industry is delivering enormous results. https://www.americanprogress.org/article/the-biden-administrations-targeted-strategic-tariffs-are-effective-industrial-policy-at-work/
  5. Export trade
  6. Trump needs to learn to shut up, he's his own worst enemy, also cease trying to censor the opposition
  7. I am not talking to my costs, but to the Australian economy in general. Australia and other allies of the US have lost many lives and treasure being engages in American overseas, wars based upon lies by US, since Korea - it has not been a free ride. Just to remind you it's the US tax payer who funds imported goods tariff costs - well overdue for you to wake up.
  8. If it's true Trump is trolling don't you think it is extraordinarily childish of a President to do so. I read a few days ago Trump made 60 social media posts in one day - this is the President of the USA for Christ sake!!!
  9. By increasing costs to the Australian economy and trying to alter Australian trade by utilising tariffs even though Australia does not have a trade gap with the US. Basically, IMO, Trump is a prat by damaging allies diplomatic relationships and trade with the USA for his own insular goals. MAGA US citizens for reasons unknown believe Trump applying tariffs on trade partners will be paid by the exporter rather than the importer i.e. USA. Indicates a level of lack of education by some US citizens. A quote from Trump... "I love the poorly educated" https://www.reuters.com/article/world/trump-loves-the-poorly-educated-and-social-media-clamors-idUSKCN0VX2DE/
  10. Try educating your self on how Trump's tariffs and other matters will negatively affect Australia and other nations. Regards Thailand, looks as though you don't care about Thais in general only yourself However... https://www.nationthailand.com/business/economy/40050457
  11. Blue cloth with a circle of eight stars, two wide red stripes and one wide white stripe. The Confederate States of America's first national flag was known as the “Stars & Bars.” This flag flew from 1861 to 1863. Each of the eight stars represented a Confederate state in March 1861 when the flag was adopted. https://americanhistory.si.edu/collections/object/nmah_461713#:~:text=Blue cloth with a circle, and one wide white stripe.&text=The Confederate States of America's,when the flag was adopted. Sharia Law will not be enacted as a parallel legal system in the USA unless supported by Congress and the President
  12. Trump's policies / decisions impact the Western world, including Australia, more often than not negatively. It seems you are unaware of this fact, so best for you to educate yourself outside of the US bubble.
  13. Trump's claims aren't aimed at the likes of me, but for MAGA world who defend / enable hime, usually without question - don't comply as a member of MAGA he sets the attack dogs on you
  14. Aften bombing Iran Trump demands the Iranian leadership to thank him. He really should be thanking Israel for destroying Iran's air defence system making it a minimal risk to deploy B2s. and other aircraft. Oh...he still blah blahs with claiming 2020 elections were stolen. No different to the Iranian leader claiming he won the war - Lol We all know propaganda is a component of warfare....even so the level of nonsense from both sides is staggering. Moments after Donald Trump held a press conference where he jumped from topic to topic –– including insisting the 2020 election was stolen from him –– he jumped on Truth Social to fume at the leadership of Iran. According to the president, the leader of Iran has failed to thank him for put a damper on a growing war after the U.S. bombed his country. 'It will only get worse!' Trump lashes out at Iran for not thanking him
  15. No need to be nasty, my user name is the password I used in my last job
  16. No. Out of curiosity why is your user name based on Stalin's mass murderer?
  17. Better take it up with Trump. It's Trump who claims to have been saved by God. US Evangelical extremists as well as Islamic extremists believe in the End Of Times. Part of the Christian extremist ideology to pressure the Trump Administration to support Israel, attack Iran and so on to create The End of Times conflict. https://www.firstpost.com/world/i-was-saved-by-god-to-make-america-great-again-trumps-congress-speechs-full-text-13868849.html
  18. The wild claims made by leaders of the Christian Right have also been in the mix: that Trump is a prophet sent by God to usher in the End Times, and that attacking Iran is necessary to bring about the end of the world and the return of Jesus Christ," White evangelical Christian fundamentalists have a complex relationship with Israel. On one hand, they believe that Jews are damned to eternal hell because they don't accept Jesus Christ as the Messiah; on the other hand, they consider themselves very pro-Israel because of the role they think Israel will play in the End Times. https://www.alternet.org/msn-uk/trump-iran-evangelicals-marcotte/?utm_source=Iterable&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Jun.25.2025_8.10pm
  19. For years Netanyahu had been urging Trump to bomb Iran and has now done so after Israel softened up the air defences, I suppose many will say Trump, or at least US Administrations are Israel's puppet / proxy.
  20. What's the slang word in the US for Trump's "despicable" MAGA followers?
  21. Plus all completely unnecessary if Trump haven't unilaterally cancelled P5+1. Surprised MSM doesn't raise this point, rather a lot of chest beating concerning the attack on Iran.
  22. What Amnesty International commentary & can you prove it's non factual?
  23. Sure, any dictatorship. US also supports dictatorships e.g. The Shah of Iran (I guess one of the root causes of Death to America) who when overthrown the oppressed became the oppressor as per usual.
  24. First of all let's not forget the world wouldn't be facing the current scenario if Trump had not unilaterally withdrawn from the P5+1 Agreement. What do you suppose the purpose of Iran's nuclear program is? I would assume as a defensive measure, negotiating tool, or maybe energy / R&D. Iran cannot currently reach US with ICBM. In any case it's currently estimated it would take Iran 2/5 years to develop a suitable guidance system. IMO the only real danger is if Iran puts in place a real zealot believer in The End of Times; same could equally apply if Christiaan zealot came to power in the US. I would be very wary of any claims by NCRI , they remind me of the Iraqi group who fooled the US into attacking Iraq. Some reading material for you... https://www.sbs.com.au/news/article/what-we-know-and-dont-know-about-irans-nuclear-ambition/ksi53aux2 https://www.iaea.org/newscenter/statements/iaea-director-general-grossis-statement-to-unsc-on-situation-in-iran-20-june-2025
  25. No, but not to the level suitable for nuclear weapons. IMO the demands for US and Israeli annihilation is political hyperbole. Currently there are conflicting opinions within the Trump Administration was to whether Iran was actually developing nuclear weapons capability, The IAEA also not calling out Iran for nuclear weapons development. All rather foggy, no clarity at this stage where this will end., though some players are stating a diplomatic solution will eventually come to light.
