  1. I do, you and others disbelieve the denials and so it goes....
  2. Your likely correct, but maybe he can convince some State or a multibillionaire acquaintance or indeed himself
  3. Both articles I linked were denials of the allegations.
  4. As an example of the many unproven / unsupported claims in your post where's the proof? Eg. Several major news outlets including Politico and the Associated Press have rejected unsubstantiated accusations by President Donald Trump and right-wing influencers that the U.S. Agency for International Development paid millions of taxpayer dollars to newsrooms in exchange for coverage favoring the Democratic Party. https://www.reuters.com/world/us/news-outlets-reject-trump-accusations-usaid-media-payoff-2025-02-07/ BTW from your link: Biden administration didn’t steal $1 billion from FEMA for migrants. Trump’s claim is Pants on Fire!
  5. Of course why not just answer my original post.
  6. No evidence of PBS reporting lies?
  7. Please provide credible examples of PBS reporting that has been identified as lies. If your claim is factual, guarantee it will be far, far less than trump's 33,000 plus lies since becoming President, so where's your accusation of lying right of centre morons?
  8. First, US AID monies are primarily expended in the USA. A reality check on your scam claim.... Only 13 of the people are still getting Social Security benefits, the report said. But for others, their Social Security numbers are still active, so a number could be used to report wages, open bank accounts, obtain credit cards or claim fraudulent tax refunds. https://www.pbs.org/newshour/nation/death-stop-social-security-payments
  9. snipped for brevity. No I'm referring to organisations deemed credible by the Moderators of this forum. US AID was supporting a core principle in democratic societies of media freedom for reporting factual content. Unless the various Court cases being raised against trump's decision to cease support for USAID, USA will be partially responsible for shutting down freedom of expression in many countries just as they wish to do so within US domestic.
  10. Exactly what transparency and accountability is being provided by Musk & co? Terminating contracts, staff, contractors etc and implementing automated software tools does not come at zero cost, in fact probably costs billions. Project goals for cost saving often take a number of years to prove / disprove. Credible link/s are required to back up your claims
  11. Typical attempted smears from MAGA world which we will see a great deal more in the trump coordinated efforts to destroy US government institutions. . Following is Power's response which has to be quoted in full as behind a paywall.... We are witnessing one of the worst and most costly foreign policy blunders in U.S. history. Less than three weeks into Donald Trump’s second term, he, Elon Musk and Secretary of State Marco Rubio have halted the U.S. Agency for International Development’s aid programs around the world. In so doing, they have imperiled millions of lives, thousands of American jobs and billions of dollars of investment in American small businesses and farms while severely undermining our national security and global influence — all while authoritarians and extremists celebrate their luck. I am shocked by the gleeful assault perpetrated by our own government against U.S.A.I.D.’s programs and the public servants who work on them. But after running the agency for four years, I am not surprised that the attacks are being cheered by Moscow and Beijing. They understand what those seeking to dismantle the agency are desperate to hide from the American people: U.S.A.I.D. has become America’s superpower in a world defined by threats that cross borders and amid growing strategic competition. The assistance provided by U.S.A.I.D. comes in many forms, and with a budget of less than 1 percent of the U.S. government’s overall annual spending, it, alone, is no panacea for the world’s major challenges. Like all government agencies, it could be more efficient, and making it so was an effort I spearheaded during my tenure. Yet for much of the world population, the investments and work of U.S.A.I.D. make up the primary (and often only) contact with the United States.
  12. It's interesting media doesn't query the costs of Musk's activities. His organisation must be acquiring lots of software such as Enterprise Workflow Management, resources for consulting, integration, configuration and training. With size of Federal Departments likely to cost billions, so what's his cut?
  13. Panama's President tells US to "stop lies and falsehoods" Mulino said he asked his ambassador in Washington to take “firm steps” to reject the claims made by the Trump administration. https://www.nbcnews.com/news/latino/panama-president-canal-trump-rcna191064
  14. How about waiting for the outcome of the legal challenges before boasting. Even more importantly results of Mid term elections. I have a strong suspicion trump and co are going to have major egg on face domestically and globally.
  15. KSR has taken many refugees, though outside of the UN process therefore not recognised and ARE not provided citizenship. https://academic.oup.com/ijrl/article/35/3/251/7439896
  16. Plus zero recognition of the Israeli Settlements in the West Bank (now approx 700.000 Israelis) and the ongoing killing and infrastructure destruction by Israeli forces and Settlers. trump is not offering a "solution" to the Israeli / Palestinian conflict just seeking opportunities to enrich his family.
  17. They are located in the original homelands of Arabs. Remember the Jews committed genocide of the Canaanites, on the order of the Jewish G-d to occupy the land now know as Israel. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arabs The Canaanites were an indigenous group of people in the southern Levant whose annihilation was commanded by God in the Hebrew Bible. This event is often interpreted as genocide.
  18. the guy wastes a lot of time either through ignorance or flaming. To have the President of the USA playing flaming games, if that is true, is just pathetic as well as a dangerous game to play in international conflict diplomacy.
  19. What I posted was forced relocation is a War Crime, not that it is currently happening. Looks as though trump has backed off a number of his comments due to international push back. Let's see how MAGA now react - Lol
  20. So far not one country has claimed it will receive refugees from Gaza based upon trump's Gaza project announcement. Possibly a great deal of noise over nothing, Begs the question why would trump talk up a project without prior buy-in-from regional players, except for Israel; red meat for the MAGA crowd?
  21. How will trump and co get Gazans to relocate and to where? So far there are not any countries putting their hand up to accept two million plus refugees. Plus of course the cost of support. housing, resettlement services etc etc etc
  22. For the moment trump hasn't won anything concerning Gaza. In any case forced relocation is a War Crime i.e. ethnic cleansing
