As usual, many of the American fans have no concept of golf etiquette or sporting behaviour.

When even the American players are having to try and calm them down, it takes the gloss off an otherwise superb American performance.

i was wondering last night if the great Arnold Palmer would have approved of the conduct.

how quickly they seem to have forgotten the manner in which he and other greats like the Golden Bear played the game.

  2. how Nick Phipps wasn't pulled until it was nearly too late is beyond me !

he decision making, the slowness of his play and all round ball distribution, i reckon was a major part in why the Aussies didn't capitalize on all the possession and opportunities they had to put the game to bed.

  3. can't believe it, you've just handed Wenger a get out of jail card, free on a plate !

still, i will say it now for the record, won't change anything as far as next season goes. you will be the better team, squad and have a better future ahead of you with your new stadium being built, financial status as far as going forward and a good thinking football manager to guide the club through it's transition.

  4. your lot making it as hard to watch as a toddler going to big toilet for the first time on their own.

maybe it's the weather or something they've eaten.

Well we just threw it away with dreadful defending.

Looking forward to your lot losing at the council park now.

yep smokes, coq au Wenger football. taking a cool few million every year off the board for getting us into a competition that we haven't a hope in hell of winning, whilst being made to look a fool by little ole Leicester on the home front . meanwhile ripping off the faithful and feeding them a load of horse manure. still who are they to have a say ?

  5. bump !

only one rugby forum around here as long as i and only i choose to still be part of this place and post.

jocks to stick it right up them and make Eddie Jones voice more annoying than it already is.

on second thoughts, maybe England by a 3 - 5 winning margin. smile.png

looking forward to the Welsh giving the Irish a lesson in forward possession in crap conditions ! whistling.gif

  6. dear spuds, just been out and bought you lot a couple of boxes of tissues for you to share.

one lot for the nose bleeds that must be occurring right now and to clean the mess up after getting a bit too excited after searching for the foreskin that ain't there. the other box for when you obviously kack yourselves later on in the season. biggrin.png

  7. decisive period of play from 31 minutes in. forward pass, 3 points. knock on and blocking, try 5 points and 2 points for the conversion.

all blacks 10 points to the good. not what i wanted to see and the officials IMHO have just killed what should have been a great spectacle of a final.

    Typical whinging failure.

Lose therefore blame the officials !

    Go away ............

LMFAO, telling me to go away from my own thread.

get a life onceahasbeen, or as an old Kiwi mate of mine used to say " last one out turn the light off " coffee1.gifwink.png

  8. decisive period of play from 31 minutes in. forward pass, 3 points. knock on and blocking, try 5 points and 2 points for the conversion.

  9. i think it's well out of order on you guys having to stay up, especially if you are back home, as it's going to be around 3 in the morning when the final gets under way..

the reason, ITV dare not move some talent less freak show, probably with all the hallmarks of Simon Cowell's backing, i would imagine.

glad to see Nigel Owens get the nod and if you get the chance have peak at the documentary made about his life by BBC Wales.

and just one thing i'd like to know that's been bugging me since the start of the tournament. why isn't Israel Folau taking on some of the kicking duties for the Aussies ?

  10. advance Australia line speed and Pocock a long with Hooper i would be very worried, Kiwis ?

a stronger scrum and a back line that you just don't know what is going to do next.

still at 8/1 before the tournament started, each way, i wonder what the weather forecast is for next Saturday ? biggrin.png

  11. i saw the all blacks team coach, trailer and all parked up in a lay by just up from Kempton park this morning not far from Twickenham, sat on it's own in the blustery pouring rain.

it looked kind of sad, hope thats not an omen for things to come, donnyboy ?

there's your weather report. bet the Boks wouldn't have it any other way, getting down and dirty.

how are the nerves holding out ? biggrin.png

  12. would love to be in Cardiff this weekend.....

    all shaping up to be a great quarter finals weekend;

South Africa vs Wales; I cant see Wales getting past SA in this one, unless they infringe too often and Biggar kicks the welsh team to glory. This will be a great match up, who knows the welsh fans travelling down may get them over the line? Boks by 7

All Blacks vs France; Will the demons of 2007 come back to haunt us AB supporters? Typically, the frogs lift when they play the ABs during the pointy end of RWCs, one point margin final 2011, two point margin in qf 2007. Will probably be close for the first 65mins I reckon before the ABs start firing. Our bench has got plenty of depth and firepower, but then again, if the French have that one game in them, this will be it. ABs by 15

Ireland vs Argentina; Gee normally you would pick Ireland for this one without hesitating, but with injuries and suspension, its looks kinda shaky eh?

Argentina has a half decent chance here I reckon, Argentina by 1 biggrin.png

Australia vs Scotland; A bit easier to pick this one, Scotland should hold the aussies off until the 2nd half i feel, then the flood gates will open. Australia by 20

    looking forward to it!!

anyone else have any predictions? smile.png

yes donnyboy that would be a great weekend, first off a few pints of brains SA [scull attack] in the arms park, then onto the match, after clarks pie, chips, gravy,

on the pavement in caroline st.then finish up in the ship and pilot off bute st.

    SA VS WALES agree.

    ABS VS FRANCE agree.

IRELAND VS ARGENTINA could be some arge.bargy. paddy does it.

AUST.VS SCOTLAND big upset as the jocks hit them with some big HAGGIS.

did someone say Caroline st and a Clarks pie washed down with a few jars of Brains ?

will be interesting to see how much of a welcome the Boks give Dan Bigger and can the Argies put one over on the Irish. although with a top coach like Schmidt and his attention to detail, i think they will only have themselves to blame if they let this chance pass them by. big injury concerns though !

as for the other two games i would say they should go to form, although you never know. it has been a great World cup so as far as seeing how far some teams have come on.

  13. i think the ref in the Argentina vs Tonga game was an absolute disgrace !

god help any of your sides if you get lumbered with this joker.

how the Argentinian no 5 lasted the whole 80 minutes is beyond me. shoulder charge, no yellow card, in at the side of a ruck and lifting above the horizontal, no yellow card and not rolling away on the wrong side of a ruck.

and to make matters even worse the poisonous dwarf that is Maradona was there to gloat at the home of Leicester King power.

should have been shot at the gates for even trying to enter to watch a rugby match.

  14. hi TF dont know about the GINGER WHINGER banished as the water boy, where's that mop of red hair gone.

dont now if youve seen the tape going round of the uni.boys from NZ doing the haka in front of cardiff castle before yesterdays game, the tears came out.

never thought i would be cheering for OZ in the morning if they win it wont be high low england fans will be singing,

it will be HI'O HI'O ITS OFF HOME WE GO.cheesy.gifcheesy.gifcheesy.gif

believe me meatboy, they are absolutely cacking it here back in England. they are going around with that upper lip thing going on, saying " are yes but we should beat the Aussies, shouldn't we ? " stiff upper lip and all that b@#$%^&* old chap .

great to here Gatlands comments the other day when asked who he would be cheering for. i reckon he wants it to be that game against the Aussies.

he's thinking right, the English too desperate for a home win to stay in the comp. give us the Aussies on a plate and we will send them packing. he's got that kind of character !

  15. the air of anticipation surrounding this game is quite something back here in the U.K.

they reckon near on 20,000 - 25,000 Welsh will be travelling up the M4 meatboy.

drove past London Welsh's ground in Richmond this morning and they had about 4 marques set up in the grounds.

they were out and about the towns nice and early, but nothing beats Cardiff on an international day morning, especially as the pubs are jam packed by 10 a.m.

can't wait for this one !

  16. hi everyone,

back to see whats happening after 4 years away from TV.

England will need to improve after their opener against Fiji,

    Ireland were comfortable over Canada,

    Tonga were upset by Georgia

but biggest news this morning is Japan win over rugby powerhouse, Boks....wow, you cant assume these games anymore....Pool B looks interesting now

love to see what will happen when Japan play Scotland in 4 days, will they be up for it? And if Samoa were to beat the Boks?

hope the All Blacks win tomorrow....should be close for most of the game?

oh my god, i was just thinking of something appropriate to post in honor of the eagerly anticipated entrance onto the world cup stage of your beloved all blacks and was thinking of you mate as i always do when posting on here.

here you are, great to have you back !

  17. it's beyond me why AFL isn't a bigger game worldwide !

the foundations are there for it to be bigger, with countries like Ireland, the U.K. set, your friends from across the Tasman, France, Italy, the Safas, even the Yanks if persuaded out of all their protective clobber.

interesting to see Richard Branson at the Dogs vs Crows game last night, do you think he is interested in buying a franchise ? then again would you guys want any kind of alien input in your national sport to spoil it ?

anyway great weekend of footie, can't wait for the next installment.

  18. bad batting order management in my honest opinion.

missed a trick by not pushing Ali up the order ahead of Stokes. plenty of overs to play himself in, a fine player of spin would have had Smith clutching at straws come the last 10-5 overs with England on course to posting a big total.
