  1. My tranny on cbr500r was very smooth and no problems on finding neutral also no miss shifts etc.

Abs was working well as well.

It's very agricultural. Clunky shifts into gears. Neutral IS hard to find. Haven't had any missed shifts though. ABS works, it may just have been coincidence that I tested it where I did and it stepped out...but not far. Maybe a foot or so.

Shifting gears on my 500F is very smooth, never missed a gear and for sure is far from clunky.

  2. I just came from Big Wing on Pradit-Manutham and google did indeed say it was closed, although it was very open.

Had my last service done at Big Wing Rama 3 since it is only 20 minutes away from where I live.

Good service, small dealership, no Gloria Jean's, very very small accessories corner. If you come off the Bumibol bridge, take a right and then the first U-turn, about 150 meters further and you are there.

  3. yep October cometh, and never heard anything.

so, as i stated before, it looks like same thing happening like 2+ years ago. At that time, Enfield guys exhibited the bikes at moto expos and fairs and wanted to open dealerships but never happened.

I hope they solve whatever problems they are encountering and let us ride these good classic bikes in Thailand.

good luck for them and hope to see them opening their first dealer soon in Bangkok.

Read my post above yours ;-)

  4. I gear up all the time too, but I don't feel the need to pose in front of a camera afterwards to feel like a real biker.

And I bet you're great fun to ride with. dry.png

I mean, why even reply to the thread in the first place if the subject holds no interest? Or was it just to make a bitchy comment?

I am great fun to ride with, because that's what I do, I ride.

I don't stop every 500 meters to have my picture taken.

  5. My last crash was totally unavoidable.

Pick-up came from around a corner in my lane, probably doing 70 and I was doing about the same.

Never thought I would see the top of a pick-up from that perspective.

Don't know if it is worth mentioning, but the driver was female. whistling.gif

  6. Got my bike serviced today and I will be joining you guys on Sunday. smile.png

Just thinking if I should put new tires before or after the ride.

Can't remember what bike you have. I'll be riding my Versys, old(ish) Pirelli Angels ST on the front and new(ish) Pirelli Angels GT on the rear. No need for the likes of Super Corsas or Diablos.

    Riding a CB500F, also on Angels :-)

  7. While it's very possible that the Italjet Formula 125 is made in Vietnam, it would still be not possible to import this scooter into Thailand. As it's impossible to get a import permit for anything that says two-stroke, companies bigger than Italjet tried and failed....

Shows you don't read any Thai motorbike magazines. They have been advertising this bike for months.
