http://ministryofsuperbike.com/malaysia/pirelli-sold-to-chemchina-in-a-e7-1bn-deal/
So I guess, some guys won't be putting Pirellis on their bikes anymore, since it is Chinese now

Maybe your right, but it was in the same location and called the same. The last one had next to no gear.
That's because it is a different motorshow.
This is the big one, where also all the bike accessories shops are.
Strange that?????
The one that is organised at the moment, is called Bangkok International Motor Show.
The other one is called Motor Expo and is organised in November/December, this is also smaller than the one happening now.
You are right about the fact that both are organised in the same building.

Every road vehicle should stay on the left, and you can only go to the right to overtake slower vehicles.
Just a pity that those cars doing 40 in the right lane don't get fined.
I got fined for riding on the right because I wanted to U-turn, cops just told me I couldn't U-turn at the next junction. I didn't know, was my first time in that area. Still had to pay at the police station.
Didn't know where that was, so a cop rode in front of me on his bike. First thing he did was go to the right and make an illegal U-turn.
Still bashing myself for not having my camera on my bike that day.

Big Wing BKK sells one too. I think the brand is H2C.

Close to Bira there are some trails.

You do have to pay a fine when you renew your tax disc too late, the fine is 2 baht per month, no joke.

I get a lot of vibration when it is placed on the handlebars, but only when pulling away from a traffic light or so.
-
Look more closely next time you see one, they are very prone to rust.

What bike is the OP riding?
Always thought it looked a bit ridiculous to be in full gear on a Honda Wave

I have had my SJ4000 (non-wifi, no copy) for quite a while and I am very happy with it.
Another plus about this camera is that you can use all the GoPro-accessories

Try Riders Outlet, they stock Shoei
https://www.facebook.com/RidersOutletBKK
It is on Soi Patanakarn 20, but you can access that soi from On Nut Soi 17.
They have a map on their Facebook page
Thanks. I wish they had a working webpage though. Very hard to find out what they carry with the way Facebook pages scatter things.
David
That is a very small shop with not a large range of sizes etc. I'd say Paddock is your best bet. You could always order online from them as you already know the fit of the helmet and the size you need. Both of these places speak ok English, so perhaps give them a call first.
It used to be a small shop. They acquired the house next door and knocked out the wall, much bigger and nicer now.

So you just mentioned on a public forum that you work here illegally?

Sorry bramds, your 1st hand info came from a sales girl, you said it yourself. Sales people are known to pull the info out of their <deleted> at times, also many have zero knowledge about the bikes they're selling.Ok if you don't want to believe my first-hand info. Just wait for the motorshow then.
Is it produced here or still imported?
Not trying to discredit you but like it was mentioned above, elsewhere in the world, the new monster costs less than the Hyper. And yes I'm talking about the locally made bikes.
Never said she was a sales girl

I was there, had a good day out.
Just before I arrived I met some Thai guys who had a spare ticket, so got in for free
Made some short videos, will upload them later. The weather was great, just a tad too hot, but liveable.

Well, I went there, on my 500F, nice asphalt road all the way to the circuit.
I think you guys got some wrong info.
-
I also went to Mega Bangna to test some bikes.
Finally did a run on the Scrambler. It was on my shortlist, but not anymore. First thing I noticed when I switched on the engine was that I have heard shaking buckets of nails sound nicer. What a disappointment.
Handling was good, although the handlebars are just too huge. This is just not a bike for me.
Also tested the FZ-09, that one is definitely still on my shortlist.

The coordinates on the site are for the entrance to Thailand Circuit and your coordinates are in the middle of Thailand Circuit.
Where is the problem?
-
The lovely girl at Ducati told me it will be over 500K baht.
All will be revealed at the motorshow at the end of this month.

My Honda CB 500 F is for sale. Red colour. One year old, and only done 330 kms from new. Taxed and insured it on 20 February. PM me if you are interested.
Geoff
Think, before buying a Honda 500!!
Already did 30.000 kms on mine without problems.

Maybe they will release an app with a fuel meter, so you can check the fuel level on your phone.
-
Just keep on riding down to Malaysia, put it on a boat and ride through Indonesia.
Then take a boat from there to Australia.
-
Yes very cool and they off-course rides Versys 650
Sad that the trip reports are in Belgium language only
There is no Belgium language its Dutch with a bad accent.
Oh no it is not, do some research and you will find that the Dutch spoken in Belgium is older than the one they try to speak in Holland.
Why do the Dutch always talk as if there is something stuck in their throat?
Just a few questions on bikes and Thailand
in Motorcycles in Thailand
