I have A class insurance on a new car and was under the impression that any accident I got into would not matter at all who was at fault as I would be covered either way... what are the terms of your current debt? sounds like there is more to this story. perhaps he is in debt with sharks. perhaps he plans to do a runner if he can get a loan in Thailand. certainly some info is being left out. he needs cash to "start a business" when he has a 5 year and running work permit? starting a business when he is in debt?

I don't think White Skinned Thais are necessarily more attractive naked, I think its a mental thing where they are more likely to be educated and wear nicer cloths and overall be from a higher social class that makes them appear more attractive.

my wife is saying that we are supposed to first translate our thai marriage certificate and our daughters birth certificate into english and then italian and then have that italian translation taken to the ministry of affairs to be 'stamped'... but this sounds strange to me, as, why would the Thai government have any business stamping documents that are not in Thai language? I think we are probably supposed to have a Thai language copy 'stamped' at Ministry of Foreign Affairs and then to have a separate translation into italian for the embassy.... This is the way its done in the Western countries...

i am just surprised that any electronic product can be cheaper in Thailand than the USA because its NEVER the case. most products are marked up 25-100% because of import taxes and smaller demand.

Of course. Imported Western products will probably be more expensive but anything made in Thailand, foods and any service that revolves around human resources will be significantly cheaper. land and home prices will fall. It'd be like a dream come true for farang who earn income outside of Thailand.

Not to mention empty airports and hotels.
