In hindsight, I learned this lesson the hard many years ago, bringing Aussie $100 notes from on my regular trips back Aus returning to cash them out in Thailand. On all future trips I carefully examined each Aussie dollars note I got from my local Aussie bank and rejected any if they even the showed the slightest marking. I noted that this practice is a one way street; I have examined 1,000 Baht notes from money exchangers with marking worst them my $100 AUD notes. Take a look at your 20 Baht notes occasionally many are riddled with all sorts of markings, even got a few phone numbers on some. Also been stung with shops passing off these types of marked notes in change from transactions, later finding out other establishments not accepting them.

I think you all have missed the key issue here! It's not just TP, it's how Thailand government runs the country. It's based on confusion (announce and unannounced), ever-changing regulations (knee-jerk policies), excessive mountains of paperwork (job tenure for life) and "not my problem" (you make mistake, you fix) attitude. Why? Government; we know better than you!.

How about approving Novavax for a more traditional vaccine for those a little concerned about mRNA and Viral Vector injections. What's the harm in adding another one to the existing offerings if it gets more people across the vaccination line.

Nailed it; been coming here for 25 years; living here now for the last 5....nothing at that airport ever changes with all the actors you mentioned. IMHO they just don't give a rats and are too dumb to even understand customer service efficiencies.

My beloved Windows 7 Professional and Enterprise Dell Latitude PCs are still alive and kicking. But unfortunately, after almost 10 years, the software programs are dying a slow death from EOL from many software vendors. I am about to purchase new Dell Latitude PCs with Windows 10 Pro. There will be a memorial service and wake when I have to fully retire my trusty faithful reliable Windows 7 software machines.

Like you, I am ok to receive a COVID vaccination, but I am waiting for Novavax a more traditional protein based vaccine. I don't really want experimental mRNA or Viral Vector vaccines in my body based on known and unknown side effects both short-term or long-term. More of a "cracks me up" laughing then a "crack down" on lawbreakers. I walk along the cycle (bike, not motor) / walking path every day on Pradit Manutham Rd, Wang Thonglang, Bangkok, It's like dodgems, just full of crazy motorbikes up and down the walkway / cycle way all morning. Nothing will change on Monday, it will be motorbike business as normal! A lot of typical toothless government hot air.

Unfortunately, just another example of poor software design, development, testing and user acceptance. Thailand will never learn from all its past mistakes of rolled out failed software solutions. Like vaccine development; testing, trials, analysis and FDA approval it takes time to deliver good results; software solutions are no different you have to follow SDLC principles and CHAOS testing. Just like all their flip-flop government announcements, they think they can sandwich software solutions like cookie-cutters frameworks in the shortest possible time. You see the end results of their historical software application strategies; absolute confusion.

A pain in the ass, I have a USA PayPal account and trying to open up a new Thai PayPal account with all the same business and personal information and Thai bank as the USA account, all previously approved in the USA years ago........it's a nightmare dealing with these idiots at PayPal they want full certification again of every item.
