  1. Former TAT governor Yuthasak Supasorn stresses the urgency of restoring Thailand’s image through reputation management, improved safety communication, and enhanced digital engagement with Chinese audiences. Just talking, talk, talk. Not a mention of actually doing anything!
  2. Hey all of you. Who said it was brake failure? I thought it said police are investigating.
  3. Quite agree. No sympathy for people who have these dogs and then get mauled. But the dogs also go after other people especially innocent children. Punishment for the owners should be at least the same as if they committed the attack themselves. I can't go for a walk here in the countryside because of the aggressive dogs.
  4. But foreign tourists want Guides who can speak their language. How many Thai Guides can speak Chinese, Russian or Korean, for example? Most Thai Guides can't do this job. This is protectionism gone mad.
  5. Well said "Really, what do they expect? This ain't Ramadan!". It's supposed to be laid back free Thailand where people come to get away from home-country restrictions.
  6. Agreed. Uninhibited protectionism is killing Thailand. From import restrictions, monopolies and tariffs to local job creation. Stifling entrepreneurship and job creation. Wicked.
  7. Great concept. I love it. But what if they introduce blow-in-the-breathalysers? Who gets a discount then?
  8. If these routes are not safe for Songkran they are not safe any day. If these measures are necessary for Songkran they are necessary every day.
  9. You may well be right. Trump blames 'cheap labour' for China's success, but have you seen their modern high-tech automated factories? Nothing. like those in USA. (Except for Tesla). Never will be. Americans want a higher standard of living without earning it. Also why don't countries buy American products? Because they're crap. Cars are still gas guzzlers and old technology (except Tesla) and foods are GM modified and unhealthy. Just look at the obese American population for proof. Who wants to eat like that?
  10. But the construction work wasn't finished. Concrete takes about 30 days to reach full strength. So if there were, say, three stories concrete poured in the last month it would have been in a very weak condition. And buildings that are 'earthquake resistant' applies to completely built buildings - it cannot apply to buildings still under construction as is the case here. A question. Apart from myself why is no one talking about this?
  11. Nobody is mentioning this - the building was under construction. It takes 30 days for concrete to reach full strength. There could be (say) 3 floors with wet concrete. Plus anti-earthquake design features may not yet have been installed. A building can only be earthquake resistant AFTER IT IS COMPLETE.
  12. She does NOT have the right to sell what she wants. For example suppose she had T shirts depicting anti Buddhist images? Would she demand the right to sell those? Or other obscene or distasteful images, depicting sad war or child images. There has to be a line drawn somewhere. Is no one sensitive to these issues, does no one care?
  13. “I would like to say that what the senior member just said is not true. Thank you.” That's parroting Kier Starmer in UK Parliament a few weeks ago and he was hammered for it.
  14. How much of this is due to Trump stopping intelligence support?
