I too have Bangkok Bank as well as Kasikorn.  Never had a problem paying at any time of day or night, and I do often leave a bar after midnight.  Suggest you contact your bank.

The statements from the banks are vague, not saying it will never work but obviously a game of luck depending on the workload.

Guess Krungthai at the day/night paying all government employees might fail.

  2. A response from Krungthai Bank:

In the case of making money transfer transactions during the night (from 11:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.), this is the bank's processing time. It may affect usage, unable to complete transactions. It is recommended to leave the transaction period and enter the transaction again or avoid doing transactions during this period. However, if you encounter a problem with the transaction, what do you do? You can inform the information via the mic to check for you.

  3. Yesterday I filled the webform of Ratchaphruek Khon Kaen with phone number of the daughter.

They told her I should come today or tomorrow otherwise would have to wait until next supply of vaccine arrives.

So today we went there to get 1. shot.

Nice surprise that the 6300 Baht price is all inclusive (check in, short examination by doctor). Got it at 10:40 AM. All fine until now. Slight ache in the arm only when stretching up and when pressing on the injection spot. Next appointment on July 31st. Will likely be a little late (one or two weeks).

Those security guards kicking the guys in the head are going to be in trouble. It is bad for business and Thailand's "image".

You were faster, didn't see your post.

  5. Some pretty vague uninformed statements here.

    For sure:

With a 2 year license you can not apply for a Thai IDP.

With a 2 year license you must not cross border, drive in neighboring countries.

    As far as I know:

With a 2 year license you can not rent a car.

  6. Even worse: endless stream of news since last year say that "Diesel" is B20 which is surely not recommended for all Diesel vehicles, B10 discontinued.

    And why is more expensive?

Might be due to the fact that "bio" (palm oil for Diesel and ethanol for gasohol) are on short supply/became more expensive. There was a full blown "palm oil crisis" after Indonesia had forbidden exports (I remember rationing of palm oil in super markets!).

    Stick to B7!

B7 is not the standard diesel fuel it is 7% Bio-Diesel.

In Europe it's THE standard Diesel by EU norm.

From PTT: Diesel B7 at PTT complies with Euro 5 emission standards.

And I am not aware that B0 (no bio) has ever been mass produced/sold in Thailand.

You think that "Diesel" is B0?

For a while there was a whole bunch of Diesel variants at PTT, B7, B10 and B20 plus the "super stuff". This has been cut back.

  8. For some reason the topic came to my mind yesterday.

I did some search for Shingrix ind Khon Kaen.

Found Ratchaphruek Hospital for 6300/shot. Guess there will be additional fees.

Khon Kaen RAM offers a single shot for 5000 (SKYZoster?) which seems less recommended.

For Bangkok Hospital here I can not find any clear statement.

Is there any chance that a public district hospital orders the vaccine on demand(deposit)?

I reckon the German government is using it as a distraction from the problems they have at the moment.

    Absolutely.

They are treated at the same high security court and kept in isolation like the radical RAF (red army fraction) far-left militant group who killed 34 people, multiple leading figures from banks, industrialists, state prosecutor etc. in the 1970s.

  10. Read the full article. These summaries always miss important facts.

However, upon searching his backpack, they discovered a packet of cannabis, which is currently legal in Thailand but under major debate. It was unclear, however, if this had contributed to his behaviour.

Also the pictures are worth

Found a shirt, hugging a policeman and driving off on a bike.

Peacefully settled. Maybe the cannabis has kicked in:cheesy:
