I don't think she can take the child out of the country without a letter of consent from the father, my wife needed this to bring my son to visit when I worked in Italy, something to check anyway.

It can be done - I did it more then once with my sons. But OP has the Passports

and to make new one in TH, the father have to sign to, normally.

I'm assuming by your name, Alfredo, that you are the father?

If so then you are confused with what I had written

To specify -

you can as a father or as a mother - even more easy - for a Thai National,

take Thai children out of Thailand without a letter of consent from the other parent.

I did that as a father and my Gf and mother of the children did that too.

To Lao on Land borders many times, no questions asked at all.

Possibly there could be questions on the border - but with my family name in my 3 sons birth certificate and in their Passports  -

they even from 2 different Thai mothers,

it was no problem on the end. Flying to Malaysia.

The mother, as a Thai citizen, can that do even with more ease.

I do not think I was confused - see above

and Passport -

usually you need both parents sign the application to get one or a new one.

Thanks everyone for the insight. I guess I'll continue to keep the passports tucked away and wait to see what, if anything happens. It's been quiet for the last week, she's probably been dumped lol
