craigOB
Hey guys, I am planning to pass through Dubai next month on my way back to Thailand and I found that there is a Thai Consulate there. After checking their website, I found that they only give Thai visas to people who have a UAE Residence Visa. http://visa.thaiconsulatedubai.com/default.aspx??qry=1eP7XkK%2fRbYQTkt%2flkSU1VblfvmKK4oy6Tj8EMHlxCsPro5Q2qaUTF%2bA2qLnjRvC#no-back-button I find this very hard to believe, and am wondering if any of you have applied successfully for a Thai TR visa without a UAE Residence Visa? I am a US citizen for reference. Any insight here would be much appreciated. Thanks!
ubonjoe
That has been their requirement for several years. Same at the embassy in Abu Dhabi. There are many Thai embassies and consulates that will only only issue visas to citizens and legal residents of the country where they are located.
