I am looking at applying for the 5 year family Thai Elite visa, can anyone confirm for a married couple that the cost is 800,000 Baht for the five years  ( man and wife) and for each additional family member the cost is 300,000 Baht. Thanks in advance

As UbonJoe stated, email the guys at Thai Elite. They return correspondence very quickky and they are very informative and helpful

I have the Thai Elite Easy Access 5 year, and it is great. Just contact them they are very helpful and will discuss all the options. They go out of there way to help. You will need to fill out the application,which you cab download on line. I highly recommend it, if it is within your budget.

as one person already here stated it is excellent, if you are financial enough to buy the card/s then do it..

 

i am not sure all about this family membership and how it works as my wife and i both just recently took a Thai Elite

card as our Retirement visas expired and we at that time did not see a Family Membership offered.. we have no children.

 

therefore we had to pay thb500,000 each for 5 yrs but it is well worth it. takes the hassle out of visiting Immigration and the 12 month renewal process. it use to be easy to do in and out in max 1 hr i think average was about 45 mins including multiple re-entry visa but now they keep changing the process. one friend goes and says was easy, next friend goes and says a lot of drama and both had the same documents ... 

 

you may pay thb500k for each member but there are savings off this immediately, if you say each year costs about thb10k

for renewal visa and multiple re-entry visa there is thb50k already and then the benefits of limo transfers to/from airports ..

the VIP through immigration and not having to wait for officer to check your visa details is also time saving. VIP counters both ways and lovely lady to meet and escort and help you through especially if holiday time and ques are long ...

 

personally we in the past few years were using our lawyers to renew every 12 months as we were sick of the change to rules and different advices from everyone that had been to immigration, so we were spending about thb50/55k to do 2 renewals each year including lawyer fees and visa fees so multiply that by 5 yrs is say thb250k so this is a saving from the amount you pay for the Thai Elite cards...

 

i know its not for everyone as not everyone has the money to buy this but if you do believe me go for it..

There are certainly family membership packages. The problem I had was finding info on their website about them.

Ubonjoe agree i tried to look also and cannot see where they explain the full benefits on a Family package

but lets see maybe some one can enlighten us on this who has purchased a Family Package ...
