Transfer tourist visa stamp to new passport + 30 day extension

Featured Replies

Hello,

Tomorrow I have to go to immigration to request a 30 day extension to my tourist visa. I recently acquired a new passport, cancelling the old one, and have the letter from my embassy. I am unsure about two things though:

1) On the TM7, do I fill in the details of my cancelled passport, or my new one?

2) Until now I was not aware there was a "transfer stamp to new passport" form. This is likely a stupid question but do I need to fill this in if I already have the letter/request from my embassy? If I need to fill it in, do they have it at Chaengwattana?

3) I've never been to Chaengwattana. What time should I plan on getting there to ensure I get everything done? I was told to leave at 5am by one person, another said get there from 1pm, another 330pm..

Much Appreciated!

1. You new passport.

2. You will still need to complete this Transfer Stamps To A New Passport form.

3. Immigration opens at 8:30 am. Closed from 12 to 1 pm. They stop giving out queue numbers at 3:30 pm. You will need a number for the stamp transfer and the extension application.

After the stamp transfer you will need copies of your the stamps in your new passport.
