Water Supply - Anybody Know What's Happening?

Does anyone know what is up with the water supply? For a long time it has been erratic, but we used to get at least a few hours every night, enough to top up the tank. Sometimes it skipped a night, but no big problem. Now we havn't had any supply since Saturday (and today is Wedneday)

Anyone know what state the reservoirs are in?

I thought there was a new pipeline built last year which was going to solve all the problems once and for all?

What part of Patts are u in? I am in 3rd rd south Pat and havent had any problems yet, apart from the crappy low pressure.

i'm in soi nern plap waan (suk 53) and the water has been off all day, got a tank though so no problem at the moment, just out of curiosity what do people pay for a water truck to come and fill up their tanks, i normally end up paying between 150-200 baht which i feel is a lot when normally my monthly water bill is less than 150 baht.

BB - must be a soap dodger. Still sewn up in red flannel from October through March??

My water bill is about five times that, but mainly because my nine-year-old invites all the kids in to play and they wind up taking communal showers and hair styling.

Generally for 150 baht you can have as much water as you want. So what we sometimes do is fill our neighbours tank as well and split the 150 baht bill between the 2 of us.

Think you'll find its 250฿ for upto 20,000 litres after that there is some sort of "sliding scale" adjustment.

It does say some where on the bill but I don't have one to hand.

That sounds like you are getting ripped off, 5 x 150 = 750Bath per month should give you about 2500 litres per day. Even if the shower is on 24/7 you will not use that much water.

What i was refering to is when you have to buy in water from the guys with the water trucks.
