webfact Posted October 17, 2017 Share Posted October 17, 2017 Thai woman suspects foul play at Bangkok ATM Picture: Sanook An ATM customer getting money out of a machine called the bank after suspecting that an overhead camera was recording her pin number. She thought there was foul play so she photographed the scene and posted a warning on Facebook on the page of "Dah Santanit". She said that the camera did not seem to be pointing out or around the area but directly at the keyboard of the machine. The bank later told her they had sent some staff to adjust the direction of the camera. Kerryd Posted October 17, 2017 Share Posted October 17, 2017 I don't think I'd go anywhere near that machine. Looking at it, it looks like it was made in Somchai's Welding and ATM Repair Shop. Can't tell the bank but the Sanook article references "Kb". It seems as well that the person who posted the photos has since deleted them and any mention of the ATM from her timeline.
