Mark Zuckerberg Has No Plans To visit Thailand Or Prayuth: Facebook

BANGKOK — Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg is not traveling to Thailand to meet junta chairman Prayuth Chan-ocha, the social media giant said Wednesday.

 

Two days after the government announced the news, a Facebook Thailand spokesperson told Khaosod English that no such meeting was planned.

Shame really, would have been hilarious to watch a press conference with the 2 of them side by side.

Was that an invitation to the Mark to visit that Mark said up yours sunshine and its highlighted more lies from Little p. Do you remember that photo on TV of Mark being challenged by a Thai General in I think Peru and Mark had his fist clenched?

Wasn't it the PM himself who said this meeting would happen? Brilliant. I did wonder if this was really going to happen. I look forward to the 'misunderstanding' comments from god knows who in the government. 

 

How do you misunderstand someone saying they want to meet when they didn't say that? 

Must be a disappointment to Prayut that Zuc won't be visiting. Seems the General's international popularity is waning.

On the diplomatic news it appears that The Trumpet himself will be visiting just about every country in Asia during November.....except Thailand that is!

Seems the earlier visit by Prayut to the Whitehouse was conveniently organised to get the pompous peacock from Thailand out of the way before Trump started touring and dealing with the serious Asian leaders. 

Prayuth must be referring to his meeting with the CEO of Fakebook

Pfff, just before I leave TV for a couple of weeks, all about the inherent stupity(!) of gaining, and then miserably loosing, face, as an inherent part of the 'quality' of those the lame and tame gullible have chosen (or not even!) as their leaders...

Thaksin this, eventually Abhisit that, Yingluck speaking at the EU Parliament (not), etc.

I guess, whoever they might be, when they could accept the concept of 'democracy', some ethics on top of it, show it into their interior policies (corruption everywhere!), and do some effective things about slave workers, fisheries and all, maybe even abolishing the death penalty, might 'give appetite' to modern, first World, Democratic, countries to have strong links with this, further beautiful, country.

...But as long as the, predominent, logic, is, deeply, corrupt, who, for heaven's sake, outside of out of, low, business greed, would have, any, interest into having any link with Thailand?

Chinese tourists maybe? What do they know or care about anyway... Nothing! And, sorry, my Thai friends, that's where you are.

Maybe Mark read my comment about the PM executing him from the original story on TV.

 

 

 

Given the Juntas penchant for making announcements on behalf of all and sundry internationally something like this was bound to happen sooner or later.

Bad English but it gave the impression that going to see little p might cost him the facebook company or his freedom/ did it not

 

Facebook is bigger than most countries and with the USA behind him as well as 90% of the Thai population Thailand or little p could do nothing or say anything to hurt him, God help the country if it did as sat in the bay would be a rather large aircraft carrier or two that is for sure.
