The medical student who allegedly poisoned his Pomeranian puppy to claim insurance compensation may face an additional charge of forgery of documents.

Representatives of Watchdog Thailand, a non-profit NGO against illegal trade of animals, on Monday went to Po Klang police station in Muang district of Nakhon Ratchasima to submit evidence to the police to support the forgery charge against the medical student.

However, an inquiry police officer handling the case said that the forgery charge must be initiated by the local police where the logistic company which transported the dog is located.
