May 9, 20251 yr I will be flying out of Thailand in 3 weeks... My present 90 day will still be valid on my return 4 weeks later. Will I still have to apply for a new 90 day? [ marriage visa]..

When you exit Thailand your 90 day report is gone The clock restarts when return to Thailand. Arrival is day 1. Use calendar to work out your next due date for report which is 90 days from reentry

[ marriage visa].. If you are referring to your visa status, then you will lose that on leaving the country. Depending on how much time is remaining you could get a re-entry permit before leaving to protect your visa status, else you would need to get a new visa or return visa exempt.
May 10, 20251 yr Yesterday, I did my 90 day report online and received an email back with a TM47 form pdf filled in with all the information that I entered. However, I received no receipt of approval or acceptance. Will Immagration be sending any approval? What’s the normal process when doing online?

Yes, you will receive another email approving or rejecting your report. Could be a few days more.

May 10, 20251 yr The response time of IB to 90 day report submissions is variable and at times can exceed ten days. It is irrational that an attendee at IB can get approval after waiting ~ 1 hour while the online submissions response time can be ten days or more.
May 10, 20251 yr I also assume the OP is talking about 90 day report. When you come back in you will need to start again. You will also need to report your address again.

If you're in the office they need to attend to you immediately. If they are not busy, they can process the online submissions, which are also processed by someone in your local immigration office. Those can wait, while people in the office are the priority for them.

Not needed if you are going back to the same address, ie your home. A new TM30, although legislation says it is required, most IOs do not enforce it. I have had the same TM 30 for 4 years, been to UK and stayed at different Thai hotels, done 90 day reports on time, but never been questioned about my TM30, they even printed a new one out for me at IO last time as it was getting tatty.

I'm not so sure about TM30 being required by law if returning to usual place of residence after travel abroad entering on same visa or reentry permit. There were changes made in 2020 as outlined in attached thread. In particular point 2.2 https://aseannow.com/topic/1169664-thai-immigration-announce-changes-to-tm30-reporting/ Seems in recent times a TM47 along with new TM30 is required after travel abroad. However it gets better..... turn up at immigration to do a TM30 and you may be told "not required"

Last time I went out and came back it was needed. Visa type Non-B not sure if that makes a difference.

I think it must depend on the local Immigration Office. I live in Rayong, and they do not require a new TM30 after coming back from abroad. I've had the same one for 4 years.

However it gets better..... turn up at immigration to do a TM30 and you may be told "not required" You only do a TM47 90 days after arrival. First one after foreign travel should be done in person, but I have done online after a UK trip. Can you do a TM30 at Immigration? I thought it was the place where you stay should do it, or do it yourself, from home.
May 11, 20251 yr My 90days report should be done till 03.06. (holiday), but I leaving the country to a 40 day holiday to Vietnam on the 05.06. So should I make the 90 days report, or not? I have a re-entry permit, so the next 90 day report counts after my arrival. Is this correct?
May 11, 20251 yr 14 minutes ago, Fatman666 said: So should I make the 90 days report, or not Why not. Do it online 15 days prior to due date. If you opt to skip you would also be fine. 15 minutes ago, Fatman666 said: I have a re-entry permit, so the next 90 day report counts after my arrival. Is this correct Correct. He thought you were talking about your 90 day report not your 90 day visa. His words "When you exit Thailand your 90 day report is gone "
