I wonder if Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam will send a submarine each to take part, just for a giggle...

A show of vunrability , that will require more spending to shore up the holes,

no doubt,

There are over 1000 generals and admirals in the Thai armed forces. Will they have enough room just too show off the brass?

Maybe they will have them paraded on the flight deck of the carrier ...

State Railway of Thailand will provide a freight train to carry all the medals to Sattahip

according to wikipedia ('royal thai armed forces')

"The Thai military has more than 1,750 flag officers (generals and admirals), a bloated number for a military of its size."

common chatter has the number of generals at about 1200;

leaving 550 admirals; why in the world does thailand need 550 admirals ?!

Is this at the same time as the intl Firework Festival. Would love to see one of those rockets sink the aircraft carrier.

If you read it again, there is also an Air Force, Marines, Border Police and other paramilitary groups which will have flag level officers. Still massively top heavy though.

It's top heavy because they installed all their relatives.
