I am aware of the 'Mia Noi' in Thailand, but is having multiple wives in Thailand considered normal ? I know Sonthi is Muslim and therefore entitled to have 4 wives according to their religion, but Minister Aree Wongsearaya has six ? Aren't there Laws in Thailand against bigamy ? What's your opinion ? LaoPo
January 11, 200719 yr Its nice being preached to and having censored films / internet / news etc, because the government really endorses family values. Most of them have more than one anyway....
January 11, 200719 yr Just a question , but what is inherently wrong with bigamy anyway if all the parties are up for it ?

My opinion is that he (Gen Sonthi) should perhaps have considered keeping the second one unregistered.
