PM joins campaign against domestic violence, calls for cooperation on national reforms

BANGKOK, 21st November 2017 (NNT) - Thailand's Prime Minister, Gen. Prayut Chan-o-cha, has joined a campaign to end domestic violence and abuse against minors and women while asking everyone to cooperate with the National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) to continue the country's reform process.

Before the weekly cabinet meeting at Government House, the PM observed and promoted various government projects, including an exhibition about the Ministry of Public Health's strategic plan to manage antimicrobial resistance .

A team of officials from the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security also attached a white ribbon brooch to the Prime Minister’s shirt to express the commitment to end domestic violence and abuse against minors and women.

After attending the activities, the Prime Minister said that everyone must join hands to help the NCPO achieve its national reforms, as the council cannot do it alone.

A placebo (/pləˈsiːboʊ/ plə-SEE-boh; Latin placēbō, "I shall please" from placeō, "I please") is a substance or treatment with no active therapeutic effect. A placebo may be given to a person in order to deceive the recipient into thinking that it is an active treatment.
