No Thai people were hurt in a terror attack in Egypt on Friday (Nov 24) in which at least 235 people were killed and 109 others injured, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Busadee Santipitaks said.

Ms Busadee said the Thai government has issued a statement to condemn the attack in which gunmen fired on people fleeing after explosions occurred at the Al-Rawdah mosque in Bir al-Abed province in northern Sinai, killing at least 235 people and injuring 109 others.

The spokeswoman said Thailand condemns all forms of terrorist attacks and violence incidents.

But not military kidnapping, attacks and torture on unarmed civilians, military coups that attack a people's sovereignty. A little duplicity me thinks.

Would the spokeswoman please confirm if that comment excludes physical violence on schoolchildren and recruits within the Thai military.

If the Thai spokeswoman knew about all the cans of worms  it would open - especially on TV Visa threads - she may have kept her mouth shut. Ultimately however these horrible attacks need condemnations. Peace.

I understand the death toll is now over 300 yet will still have posters pushing their own agenda.  Where is the humanity?

Coming from a military junta who took the country down the barrel of a gun.

No agendas, just reality.

According to the UN Human Rights Commission, it isn't in Thailand.

The Thailand National Human Rights Commission is also not known for effectively protecting human rights.

Ouuuuu, the Thai governments condemns terrorist attacks.

Same old template used by every other government.

Why dont they do something effective about it rather than condemn it. Eradicate it!!
