Am feeding my puppy pedigree chum meat puppy food in the morning and dried in the afternoon. I believe this is necessary for the correct vitamins etc. At what age should he start eating adult dog food? He's a mixed thai dog and will grow into a large dog, certainly by thai standards. He's currently 3 months old

you can feed him with puppy food till he's 10-12 months old, then change to adult food. when your dog is up to 1 year old, you can feed him just once a day.

usually vitamins are well-balanced in dog food (though pedigree is not the best, you can compare to other brands for each element), since he's only 3 months now, you can add some calciums (those for dogs) into his meal.

3-month is the best period to train your dog, never hesitate to repeat dos and donts to him. 3-month is also the time his tooth growing up, be aware of your shoes, tables, anything he can reach, replace them by some chewing products.

Thank you both for your advice, a simple question but I had no answer myself. Any recommendations on the food, just bought some purina alpo which he liked but realise now its made by nestle. Not my favourite company.

As for the chewable toys. I'm sorry, but you just can't beat a pair of nearly new flip-flops

The problem with letting pups chew an old pair of shoes is that it's difficult for them to differentiate between shoes that are OK to chew & shoes that aren't. It can also be a difficult (& expensive) habit to break. I'd stick to chew toys or rawhide chews.
