Hi All, I've kept my anonymity always. But now for this topic I need to say who I am. I am a 15-year-old boy who goes to school in Bangkok. Dad encouraged me to join this forum because he says it'll help my English to interact with native speakers. Mom's not happy because she says AN is full of "bad men". I don't think that's true. You all are cool. In any case, when you talk about the "sexualization of children", I want to say it works the other way too. I mean children sexualize adults too. For example, our math teacher is a Dutch woman. I think she's around 30. She's tall and has a cute face with thick lips (like Charlize Theron) and has big breasts and I guess what you would call a shapely bottom (I will not use bad language though I know the word). And Mom says she wears clothes two sizes too small and that you can make out her underwear. Mom's even talked to the principal about Miss D (can't say her real name) but nothing changed. Dad likes her though and keeps wanting to make an appointment to see her about advanced classes for me, but Mom said no. The guys in my class, we all think Miss D is the best. And she's smart too and can do trig in her head. So what's happened this year is we guys are all studying hard to impress her with our homework and, especially, in case she calls one of us to the board. All our hands go up and if we get called we try to stand really close to her. And if we do well she has this (I don't know, flirty?) way of squeezing our shoulders and smiling and saying, Good show! My friend Pob's taken pictures of her secretly and I think he's obsessed and I tell him to work on other subjects if he's going to graduate. But his grades are now like A in math and C's and D's elsewhere. So I guess what I am saying is the children sexualizing adults can be a good thing if you can control how far to go. Maybe it's the same the other way. I don't know.
