Any recommendations for a good moving company that will come in, pack up, transfer it (within Silom) and then pack-in... A good price not a huge, farang price company that still manages to break fragile things.

I have used both Four Winds and Allied Pickfords here, ok yes both Farang companies but I found the prices to be quite reasonable. (4-5000 Baht I think from memory but it depends on how much gear you have)

Nothing was broken either time and all I had to do was point and drink tea.

Stear clear of Transpo and The Big Move. Both quoted me over 20,000THB for moving house. Ok, we have a house full of stuff, but we only moved less than 1/2km away!

I ended up doing it with my own staff (8 of them) and a pick up truck. Total cost for complete house move and re-installation of all furniture, about 4,000THB.
