Pattaya's Traffic Mayhem Threatens Tourism: City Battles for Solution File photo for reference only A raucous city council meeting in Pattaya yesterday saw members voicing their concern over the worsening traffic situation in the known Thai beach resort. According to Surin Yimyai, a city council member, disorderly public transport practices are causing disastrous congestion and dampening the city's image as a leading tourist hub. The main culprits appear to be public buses, stopping at any location of choice, disregarding rules and gumming up key routes. recommend back surgeon / spinal orthopedic doctor in Chiang Mai ?
My long-diagnosed herniated disks (lumbar, L5/S1) are getting way worse and I need a new MRI and investigation. Quite likely surgery, hopefully the minimally invasive type (laminectomy as opposed to ACDF/Fusion or worse). Can someone recommend a doctor/surgeon they've had actual good experience with in Chiang Mai? Ideally someone who doesn't immediately jump to assume surgery is the best but who also has well-researched knowledge about the likely long-term effectiveness of more conservative treatments. Thanks. -

LTR Visa is Now available for Long Term Residency
From my limited experience with the documentation requirements so far, they only accept tax returns or other forms of passive income that demonstrate a stable and regular stream (e.g., rental income). You can still give it a try, at least it is free to apply 🙂 -

Called at the Chonburi Taxation office
My friend just switched to being non-resident for tax in Australia. When asked for a TIN he just said he's retired and has no income in Thailand so does not need to be a tax resident of Thailand. His 3 banks all accepted no TIN required7 -

Pattaya's Traffic Mayhem Threatens Tourism: City Battles for Solution
A raucous city council meeting in Pattaya yesterday saw members voicing their concern over the worsening traffic situation in the known Thai beach resort. According to Surin Yimyai, a city council member, disorderly public transport practices are causing disastrous congestion and dampening the city's image as a leading tourist hub. The main culprits appear to be public buses, stopping at any location of choice, disregarding rules and gumming up key routes. This convoluted system has led to severe gridlock on primary arteries including South Pattaya Beach Road, Pattaya Second Road, Third Road, and Na Kluea. The city's infrastructure, overwhelmed by an ever-growing number of vehicles and tourists, seems unable to maintain a traffic-free environment. Addressing this crisis, the city's administration unveiled a scheme aiming to counter the gridlocked predicament. A committee is already in place tasked to untangle this knotty situation. Primary actions entail introducing well-placed, clearly indicated bus stops in major city arteries. However, the city's management concedes the issue remains a formidable challenge due to the sheer number of public vehicles and insufficient driver discipline. In a tighter approach, the city plans to join forces with transit officials and law enforcement to enforce rigorous regulations. The ultimate hope is to regulate a slicker, better-organised transport system, alleviating congestive pain points and enhancing the holiday experience for tourists. If successful, Pattaya's leaders hope their rejuvenated thoroughfares will bolster what many view as the city's waning reputation, providing smoother commutes for locals and visitors alike. Much Wall Street, Chicago's Navy Pier, or the sparkle of Paris in the summer, Pattaya's streets just may be key to its thriving future as a premium tourist hot spot. Gifting the Spouse
That is exactly correct and is per year. For ease of proof should you, your wife or your children ever be audited you should draw up a gift contract that you and the giftee retain. Neither you nor your recipients have to register with anyone. only if the gift is in excess of the limit must a form be completed and 5% tax on the excess be paid -

Thai Bank Account - 800k deposit
Can I ask you: are there any IO that do not require having funds seasoned for 2 months prior to date of application for the first non-o visa (As in Pattaya, Phuket etc...)? What about Bangkok IO?
