Pretty snake

Featured Replies

But what was it? very small, not aggressive only thing I can find it looks  close to is a  type of Bronzeback snake, 10 inches  long about as  thick as half a pencil.

Ok I think this  might well be a Striped  Keelback snake

Yes its a bronze back, very gentle snake, harmless,

just pleased you did not kill it,anything that moves

is soon dispatched by some people.

I think its  more  likely a  striped  keelback looking at various web photos

Yes they are beautiful, necessary for nature's equilibrum...but when one has absolutely no idea on the species of these boys, sorry, but I would not try to mess or socialise with them....and if one does bump in the bedroom with no idea if it's harmful or not, sorry boys, but not worth taking the risk....nature and survival can be cruel issues.
