Realtors on Samui

Just a passing rant for the day.

Decided to sell my house so went to three estate agents around the south of the island to list my house.

Gave pictures, stats and price and signed contracts for the usual 5%. And then.....nothing.....ever.

Granted that my house is not worth 20 million but hey, it is a nice place 20 meters from a quiet beach in the south of the island.

Have had way more interest generated by the sign on my gate!

Would be a great niche market for someone with real estate experience covering the less than 7 million properties.

I really don't get it. Given the "pollution" of Samui real estate offerings on the internet (especially local facebook groups) one would think that the countless specialists offering a product with over supply would be eager to provide information to potential buyers. Of the 7 information requests I sent out this month I got 3 replies (of which one was so useless I wish they had not replied).

 

How can they be so bad?
