People do not seem to have a great desire to live in Sweden, if they're from there. Mallorca in Spain is full of Swedes, as is Pattaya. I think the typical problems of most of Northern Europe now, mass migration, socialist mismanagement, bad weather, etc. My grandparents had a summer house in Smaland, Sweden, but is was basic af. Toilet in a shack outdoors. Which is common to this day in Sweden's rural parts. I did have a Swedish client who was resident in Cayman but owned a house in Italy and Sweden's Baltic coast, but his preferred place was Sao Paolo in Brazil. Sweden is not fun like Thailand, Mallorca, Brazil etc, the weather and food are poor, tax etc...Nah.
