Transit Visa At Bangkok Airport?

Featured Replies

Hello,

I am hoping someone can help clarify.....I have maxed out on my three "30 day" VOA visas, and am wondering if I can jump over to Siem Reap and then return on a transit visa. My return ticket home will be 30 days less from my return date from Cambodia. I am not sure if this is possible to do, or if I am able to obtain a transit visa at the Bangkok airport upon my arrival. I am trying to avoid having to fly to Phenom P. to get a visa. I also understand there is not a Thai consulate in Siem Reap.

Any clarification would be very welcomed. I have been to two Thai Embassies (Vietnam and Singapore), the US Embassy in Bangkok and Thai Immigration and all stated this was possible, however I do not want to leave and then not be allowed to re-enter or something much worse.

Thanks!

You are going to have to go somewhere that has Thai diplomatic representation to apply for a visa for Thailand.
