A DAD from Thailand has found fame and fortune as a Mr Bean impersonator after a barnstorming appearance on a TV talent show.

Mongkol Prechajan, a 43-year-old computer technician from Bangkok, is a huge fan of Rowan Atkinson's iconic comedy character.

The dad-of-one says he decided to perform as the loveable accident-prone oaf because of own his resemblance to the Brit comedy legend.

Slapstick humour is popular in Thailand and Mr Bean is a huge star across Asia - where his lack of spoken lines mean his comedy transcends national boundaries.

I find the impersonator quite creepy, but I love the fact that Mr Bean (or is it khun thaw?) Is so popular around the world.

Rowan Atkinson must be so proud....
