Fire on Ko Phi Phi prompts official action on safety

Krabi provincial authorities are now considering a meeting with business operators on Ko Phi Phi in Krabi province to prevent future fires after a night fire Tuesday night (Feb 6) gutting 25 row shophouses, and injuring nine people, in the commercial area of the southern beach destination.
