3421abc
I searched this forum prior to posting this and the last posts were from 2016. Does anyone have any updates on the availability of Havoni in Thailand and the costs? Is it cheaper here or in India or Bangladesh? My mom needs it urgently. Sheryl
Harvoni is now available here but only from hospitals and extremely expensive. Harvoni brand will be very, very expensive anywhere but there are generic equivalents made in India, Bangladesh and Australia. These are not available in Thailand but some people have managed to order by mail. See older threads. As is his friend and colleague Dr Jimmy Freeman, who provides a complete, bespoke service here: https://fixhepc.com If you can raise 1 -2 thousand US dollars, you don't have to be dragged through a hedge backwards over and over again for several years to get treated nowadays. As an aside, has your mum been genotype tested? Harvoni only works well with genotypes 1 and 4. Types 2 and 3 are better treated with a combination of Sovaldi and one of the pan-genotypes such as Daclatasvir or Velpatasvir.

Thank you so much for the link. I was looking for a reliable seller of medicine.

I was looking for a reliable seller of medicine. Both Greg and Dr James are 100% reliable. You could buy the medicines cheaper by flying to Bangladesh (assuming you're in Thailand), but it's not a straightforward mission. The Guys I and Cheryl have recommended will give you and your mum all the help and guidance you need, as well as getting the meds to you. Greg, in particular, is very creative at getting meds to people in countries which are difficult to get generic meds to.
