BANGKOK — The junta No. 2 on Thursday rejected calls from online critics to have the top investigator in a high-profile poaching case replaced.

 

While the public has turned to social media to accuse Srivara Ransibrahmanakul of showing leniency toward the executive of a major

development firm charged with killing a black panther in a protected forest, a deputy junta chairman described the police general as reliable and “straightforward.”

Keep a lookout. Junta No. 2 might be seen wearing a new watch in the next day or so.

Srivara will not be replaced as he has already received his very large envelope.

I'm sure that there's been plenty of money being offered and taken in this farce.....and there's going to be some red faces if justice prevails....but that's just fantasy of course!

Well of course he can't be replaced. That would mean a loss of face for this hoop licker, and that would be the worst crime committed here. All about the priorities for the rich and powerful .

'Reliable' in so far as that he knows how to sweep high profile cases under the carpet?

 

When's that Tiger Temple in Kanchanaburi  reopening as a Zoo? You know, the one that was run by the monk, illegally breeding, skinning, and exporting tiger parts, without any high convictions etc.
