Phuket Vice Governor pushes for crackdown on ‘home delivery’ drugs

PHUKET: Phuket Vice Governor Snith Sriwihok has called for ramped up vigilance and effort to prevents drugs from being delivered across the province by post and private delivery companies, and even being brought onto the island by government-run inter-provincial buses.

 

V/Gov Snith delivered his message at a meeting at Phuket Provincial Hall yesterday morning (Mar 16) attended by local anti-drug enforcement officials, officials from Phuket Land Transport Office and local representatives from private delivery companies.

 

The specific delivery companies represented were not named.

Reading the article helps. It specifically names methamphetamine.

 

The article also specifically says drugs, not meds.

 

you may want to consider those as hints.

 

the article goes on later to specify illegal drugs, and in no place in the article is the word med or medication used.

In the U.S the word drug can be used when referring to medecine ex: "drugstores" are pharmacies.

And i am familiar witht he terms i have used them all my life.

so in order to make your argument you overlook the part where it specifies methamphetamine and explicitly states illegal drugs.

sorry i think you have no point. the article is in no way vague, ambiguous, or unclear so i really have no idea what you hope to achieve bickering semantics.
