There are very, very few podiatrists in the whole of Thailand and none in Korat. However a podiatrist is not whst you need. Calf pain and burning/numbness is either due to a problem with circulation or a neurological problem. Are you diabetic?

thanks Sheryl,i am not diabetic,i did have tests done last yr.nov.when I had a bout of siezures, they have put me on ,dilantil for 2yrs.the calf pain ect.started about 4months ago, when the warfarin clinic at theparat hospital mucked up my warfarin doseage and I don't think they know what they were doing,my range is 2-3,and for 9yrs.i have managed it myself, although I was having a test done at a blood lab.in korat.i bought my own self tester and have had no trouble until they [hospital] started mucking about.

these are the tests since nov.1.7.2.1.1.5.1.4.1.8.1.9.1.6.1.6.1.6.1.8.1,6.they seem they don't know how to get my range right by uping the dose but missing days.since the 22nd.feb.i have adjusted the doseage my self,

this is it now,2.2.1.9.2.3.2.4.

what does frighten me is my right leg,the calf muscle there is a bit of blue veins showing.at night my foot goes cold,so I hang it over the side of the bed then it comes back to normal.i did fall and hurt my right foot which has been giving me some discomfort as if I am walking on pebbles.

It sounds like you have multiple medical problems not yet described.

What are you on the warfarin for?

Did they identify the cause of the seizures?

What other meds are you on//what other conditions do you have?

thanks Sheryl, the warfarin is to be taken for life after surgery [a mechanical] aota valve.2007.i aslo had by pass surgery aswell.

the doctors at theperat couldn't find the cause of the seizures.nothing showed,med.300 mg.dilantil daily.

these are the medication that controls my heart ect.COVERSYL,BISOPROLOL,AMLODIPINE, and OMEPRAZOLE FOR MY HIATUS HERNIA. this is the first time I have had trouble with my calf, and the foot going cold at night.

because I was more concerned about my beloved sam.i didn't care about my problem.i did have scans after a mini stroke before the siezures but they counldnt find anything wrong.when I fell at home I did stubb my right foot, but there is no pain there and I can wriggle my toes.i am starting to treat my calf with ice pack twice daily.could be I am getting old passed 73 and wanting to be with my beloved.oh I don't drink anymore its over 18months now.

OK so you have cardiovascular disease, quite likely due to athersclerosis, which makes peripheral arterial disease (diminished blood supply in your legs due to hardening of the main arteries and/or plaque deposits) a suspected cause.

You need to see a vascular specialist right away. I recommend:

Prof. Pramook Mutirangura

Siriaj Hospital

http://www.siphhospital.com/th/home

(this is their private wing - can usually set up appt on the phone easily)

OR

Phyathai 2 hospital (only there once a week but more convenient location, right near Victory Monument)

https://www.phyathai.com/doctor_search.php?clinicid=15&branch=PYT2

Do not delay. Quick action could make the difference between losing your feet (or even legs) and keeping them, if the arterial circulation is compromised, which it sounds like it may be.

When you see him, be sure to mention the sudden onset of seizure with no cause found as the blood flow in your carotid arteries and brain may also need to be checked. People with athersclerosis in one part of the body often have it elsewhere and cerebral atherosclerosis can sometimes first present as otherwise unexplained seizures.atherosclerosis
