Additional forensic evidence concerning with the illegal hunting case against Italian-Thai Development Plc boss Premchai Karnasuta will be submitted to Pol Gen Srivara Rangsibrahmanakul, the deputy national police chief, on Monday, said Dr Kanita Ouitavorn, chief of the wildlife forensic science unit of the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plants Conversation.

She told Thai PBS Online that she had to release her forensic findings in the social media in order to clarify to the public that the wildlife forensic science unit performed it duty up to the required standard and to find forensic evidence to back up criminal case against wildlife.

She said that latest forensic tests of the DNA, blood trace on the ground and on tree leaves taken from the crime scene in Thung Yai Naresuan wildlife sanctuary belong to the same black panther killed allegedly by Premchai’s hunting party as well as the meat found at the scene whose forensic report was already submitted to the police.

If the meat is fresh and comes from a newly killed black panther? Why do we need more evidence. Ha was so to say found sitting with the pot in his hand. :cheesy:

Could this be the long awaited forensic and DNA report on Premchai's dump near his vehicle? Or has that been "lost" along with the voice recording of his alleged bribe attempt.

so essentially she reports to social media; social media is her real boss; twisted

Slowly being removed from the media.....this forensic evidence will likely be "spoiled" and probably inadmissible

It is for all branches of service industries/Government departments.  If you want anything done, shaming is the only way.

Typical Thai style. If things are not going the preferred way, let's change the name first:

From Premchai hunting case to Thung Yai hunting case.

(from the broadcaster you can trust?)

For crying out loud: He was caught with his spoon in the panther-soup...!!

As for her 'duty' to report to the public via social media....more likely some grey official trying to get her 15 seconds of fame....:coffee1:

They have a mountain of evidence, but I still say the cook or the driver

is going to be the fall guy for their boss, after all he did not know what

they were up to :saai:

I think, but I can't be sure I don't know Thai law well enough. There were 3 guns and 4 people. Can you charge them all with poaching or do they have to prove who fired the shots. I believe there is guilt by association in the US (something like it) but not that much in the Netherlands. I am not sure what Thai law states on this.

this additional evidence should make the case 110% complete, however, they are still waiting on another 20% to be absolutely sure. It is unclear if these extra 20% are derived from a base of 100%, or the new total of 110%. Until they have figured out the math behind their percentages we will just have to stay in the dark.

Would have been better if he had been caught with a gun in his hand, now i feel he still has a chance to escape the more serious charges.

Catch one guy with a gun and a dead animal poaching is easy to prove

Catch 4 guys with 3 guns... now who did the poaching... (unless they got a guilty by association law or something like that)

It will be interesting to see what happens in this poaching case:

Useful information proving that the panther wasn’t killed elsewhere, (outside of a NP) I suppose.

I have a solution to solve this case:
