Hi,   I have a savings account with the Kasikorn bank in Ubon Ratchantani.   I live in the UK but want to buy a condo in Bangkok.  Can I use my Kasikorn bank account in Ubon Ratchantani to transfer money and buy a condo in Bangkok or will I have to open a bank account in Bangkok?  If so, can anyone tell me the easiest and best bank to open an account in Bangkok.   I do not have a Thai wife or girlfriend so cannot use the spouse to help.  Any suggestions, please.

Thank you,

Alf

And, yes, I had to pay the 0.1% commission for transfers between my accounts ...
